Madonna - Live in Gothenburg 4th of July - Flash Ticket Giveaway!

We saw Madonna live in Copenhagen last night, she was on fire as you can tell by the pic, tehehe. Two things that happened caused her to break her concentration - and we loved that as it showed a human side to the pop icon! Firstly during Open Your Heart she started too early on the bridge and she said "I don't know what happened." and secondly a fan in the gold circle had a sign that said something like "Welcome to Copenhagen Madge" and when she saw it she said "Put that sign down, I hate that nick-name, put it down!" All it all - a fun night! But let's digress!

We have two tickets to M's show in Gothenburg tomorrow to give away to one lucky person and their + 1! How awesome! Obvs you have to be in the area or get there & have somewhere to stay etc etc! David Bowie - Cracked Actor - A Sunday Documentary

We love David Bowie and music and personas have provided us with a flawless soundtrack for life and love throughout the years. We're hypnotized by this infamous 1974 documentary following David in Los Angeles during his Diamond Dogs tour. This was the year after the retirement of Ziggy Stardust and right after Alladin Sane and Pin Ups - right before his major American success with Young Americans. Wow! What an insane and productive period! The doc that remains to this day officially unreleased is famous for showing how frail his mental state was at the time as he was a heavy cocaine addict - which is evident we'd say in his apperance for sure. Alan Yentob who made this film is forever always remembered for his Bowie portrait - to this very day. It's an amazing time capsule - showing a legacy that influences artists heavily and will continue for decades if not centuries to come.

Kelis - Distance - Premiere

We were listening to Kelis earlier today - and tonight UK radio premiered her Skream produced new single Distance! Wow, it's a big leap from her club record Flesh Tone, and it's to our liking. We loooove that album, but we feel this too! UK Garage and year 2000 flashbacks are comin' at us! Have a listen beloooow! Thoughts?

A$AP Rocky Feat. Lana Del Rey - Ridin'

Since A$AP Rocky graciously played Lana Del Rey's JFK husband in her National Anthem video this week - she's returned the favour by providing a featuring on his track Ridin'. This old school jam feels like a natural extension of her own Born To Die album. A retro feel paired with some hip hop beats and what a killer flute! A$AP's debut album LongLiveA$AP will see a release in September! Thoughts?

M.I.A. - Bad Girls (Leo Justi Remix)

Wow! Tonight's all about the badass BASS in Rio de Janeiro's Heavy Baile master Leo Justi's remix for M.I.A.'s Bad Girls! How hot is this?! We're so happy this was released, although it could've done with being released with the video earlier in the year! Gostosa! Perfeito and some! You cannot play this too loud this weekend, haha!
