Video Premiere: BANKS - Fuck With Myself

Brand new BANKS! Fuck With Myself is dark and suggestive as her debut album and we love it. Her sharp and distinct vocals twist and turn over a sparse beat and it's part 90's R&B, part Björk. LOVE! Her whispering is so damn cool, we just wanna sing this chorus walking down the street stat. The breakdown is velevety electronic goodness and gorgeous. The visuals are equally as striking. That BANKS head with her eyes closed is so effective for herself to abuse and the warehouse beings with that blue light and wide lens lends a hand in your next uneasy dream. Too nice! 

Premiere: Crystal Castles - Char

Crystal Castles has been rebooted with new lead singer Edith Frances and brand new material has slowly emerged for the last year. Char is a slice from the upcoming new album AMNESTY (l) which is out in August. This new era sounds more polished and less like diving into a dark pond of desperate ghouls. Mind you, we didn't think that was a bad thing, haha. But the new style sounds good and we can imagine this appealing to the old fan base as well as expanding it. Listen belooow! Thoughts? 

Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Romantic Comedy

Exciting times in the wondrous realm of Róisín Murphy! Her upcoming album Take Her Up To Monto is out next week on the 8th for starters! We officially cannot wait. Luckily for us all - brand new track Romantic Comedy just dropped to tide us ovah. This new album is shaping up to a cousin to her 2005 solo debut Ruby Blue. It's equally as thrilling with these new tracks and how disjointed and dreamy they are. Listen below to the slick arthouse feel with a hot side of 8-bit and those now iconic and patented vocals. Premiere: Metronomy With Robyn - Hang Me Out to Dry

Metronomy are preparing for the July 1st release of new album Summer 08. One of the first tasters is a collaboration with Robyn! Hang Me Out to Dry almost sounds like two tracks mashed together as Robyn and Joseph Mount's vocals sounds like they were recorded separately and then fitted together. We love the airy and experimental feel of the track and how the energy builds and drops. Same with the vocals, they are both whispers and edgy, raw and soft. Listen below! Thoughts?

Mabel has just released the perfect summer anthem with a heavy dose of 90's realness! Yesssss. Thinking Of You is a jam filled with soft and fluffy elements but with sharp edges. Nice n' hot combo! Lovin' the strings and how her on point vocals are front and center and so crisp. Mabel sings like a true storyteller and that is a joy to listen to.
