Premiere: Metronomy With Robyn - Hang Me Out to Dry

Metronomy are preparing for the July 1st release of new album Summer 08. One of the first tasters is a collaboration with Robyn! Hang Me Out to Dry almost sounds like two tracks mashed together as Robyn and Joseph Mount's vocals sounds like they were recorded separately and then fitted together. We love the airy and experimental feel of the track and how the energy builds and drops. Same with the vocals, they are both whispers and edgy, raw and soft. Listen below! Thoughts?  

Premiere: Metronomy - Love Letters (Soulwax Remix)

Many are the nights we've danced to Soulwax mashups and remixes in London. Love! Now there's a very nice add indeed to the list. Metronomy's 60's pshycadelic single Love Letters becomes a new anthem to crazy dance to! The full album of the same name drops tomorrow and we love the idea behind the title. Who writes love letters anymore? Luv tweets perhaps? An instagrammed pic of a classic poem? A naked selfie? Haha. Right, we'll make a mental note to write a proper letter very soon! Love the added quirkiness this mix brings to both the vocals and the vibe of the track. Now, let's see if we can find some stationery...
