Video Premiere: Alicia Keys - In Common

We're wild for Alicia Keys' fantastic new single In Common - and here are the amazing visuals! Much like the song the video feels fresh and is a gorgeous new start for her. The song is so rhythmic and minimalistic yet intricate - love it. The visuals are deconstructed but never come across contrived in any way. The feeling watching is that it's so inclusive and celebratory we just wanna jump through the screen and join in. LOVE IT and this is one of the strongest releases so far this year. Top marks! 

Video Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Ten Miles High

Ya'll, we can all go home now. Róisín Murphy just released Ten Miles High and is snatching wigs left and right. To her brand new, stellar track we're getting a self directed and self styled gorgeous n' nuts video and the combined result is genius. She loves the brutalism aesthetics and we don't blame her. She knows how to combine tough elements with softer and really work through her ideas and push her own boundaries. It's so wonderfully disjointed here but held together beautifully. The sharpness of the music paired with those iconic vocals and the visuals added - it's just so damn perfect. The new album Take Her Up To Monto is out on July 8th! 

Premiere: MØ - Final Song

MØ is gearing up to dominate the party playlists this summah with brand new single Final Song! She has an excellent shot at it as it's a banger + tune! Co-written with UK pop wizard MNEK and Swedish pop royalty Noonie Bao it is heavy on the hooks and so fluffy and airy like a dreamy summer night. It's so direct and really takes you to an outdoor beach party in under a minute and then drives home the message with a bridge of bridges and a soaring chorus. As MØ herself puts it; the perfect sound! ENJOY! 

Premiere: Fischerspooner - Everything Is Just Allright

HELL YES, BABY! We have brand new Fischerspooner! Everything Is Just Allright is the first new music from 'em since 2011 and is the soundtrack to the SS16 Nicopanda campaign film. Do we dare to even mention that the track is electroclash?! :D We love this return to their roots and how the beat is so vintage yet sounds like it really fits into the *modern world*. The verses are muted and truly are gleaming in between the soaring chorus and the synths help bring it all together. Those harsh lyrics and clipped vocals from Casey Spooner = gorgeous! The film directed by Alexander Alexandrov featuring choreography by Josh Killacky and dancing by him + Alex Ditommaso and Evan Moody fit perfectly and is so on point. Very fashion + mysterious + category is: orthopaedic shoe game realness. Watch below! 

Video Premiere: Janet Jackson - Dammn Baby

Finally a new video from Janet Jackson! And it's one of our favourite tracks from the Unbreakable album - Dammn Baby! She's had an intense few month with cancelling her world tour to a big backlash and later announcing her first pregnancy at 49 to wild online rumours. Thankfully here's something that's focusing on her music and dancing. The visuals to Dammn are on point and focuses mainly on movement and flow rather than a big set. The choreography is classic Janet with hot and tight moves + dancers. PLUS a patented JJ breakdown to the I Get So Lonely beat from 1997. NICE! She really does this so well and it's a joy to watch - the song is so tight and deserves spins and streams everywhere for sure!
