Premiere: MØ - Final Song

MØ is gearing up to dominate the party playlists this summah with brand new single Final Song! She has an excellent shot at it as it's a banger + tune! Co-written with UK pop wizard MNEK and Swedish pop royalty Noonie Bao it is heavy on the hooks and so fluffy and airy like a dreamy summer night. It's so direct and really takes you to an outdoor beach party in under a minute and then drives home the message with a bridge of bridges and a soaring chorus. As MØ herself puts it; the perfect sound! ENJOY! 

Premiere: KStewart - Be Without You

London based rising act KStewart has teamed up with MNEK for a walk (dance more like) down to a big room club and we ain't complainin' one bit. Be Without You is a JAM - those licks alone are worth admission for sure. K's vocals are on point, the beat tight and bouncy plus all of it is marinated in a h o  t 90's themed production. LOVE! Premiere: Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You

Yes and yes! Pop wizards Zara Larsson and MNEK come together to grace the world with some new sick beats! Never Forget You is a duet starting off as a ballad with Zara's gorgeous n' soaring voice and then erupts into a garage type banger that has us wanting more and more. They co-wrote with Astronomyy and we're hoping there's more where this came from. Top marks! Enjoy!     

Premiere: MNEK - Believe (Cher Refix)

MNEK has a knack for taking well known songs and refixing them into a whole new track. Like this one of Sade's No Ordinary Love for instance. So good! Tonight he's treating us to a fresh new take on a track that's been played to death - 1998 landmark single for Cher - Believe. The then pioneering electronic processing of her voice is here replaced by a more soulful take and musically it sounds like it would fit any garage compilation from early 00's. Cool! Love the chorus building up here and how it's a 180 take from the dance original. Check out below; thoughts?   

Premiere: Karen Harding - Say Something (FACES Remix)

Hurrah! Close to six months after we blogged about Karen Harding's infecious MNEK produced debut single Say Something it has a release date! Since we're a bit impatient it was included in our Best of '14 playlist based on the SoundCloud stream. On January 26th it's finally coming out officially via Disclosure's Method Records. OH SNAP! That is a verrrry cool label to have your debut on! This remix by FACES is a FRESH start to the club year with zingy synths and a VERY 80's feel to it. And as always Karen's vocals are so on point and really works over this catchy beat. Top marks! Enjooooy!
