Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Mastermind

When it rains it pours! Goodness in this case as Róisín Murphy is giving us life by already releasing a new album after last years brilliant Hairless Toys! Upcoming album Take Her Up To Monto is out on July 8th and first taster is the slinky Mastermind! Sounding like the soundtrack to an early 80's movie it takes us to church with its inital gentle flow that grows harder + wondrous collection of synths and those engaging bleeps and curve balls. Not forgetting to mention those patented RóMu vocals that conntects it all together into a sweet spot like no other + that sicknin' outro with jibberish and electronic vibes that closes and opens up for a whole new chapter. Love it! Top marks Ró! 

Best of '15: The Year In Music

Wow, 2015 has really flown by - at least to us! We are having so much fun listening to hot beats and writing this blog and wanna thank you for being right there with us! THANK YOU! This year we've been listening to a ton of amazing breaking artists - Jones, Elias, Kacy Hill, the list goes on & on. We got a brand new album from Róisín Murphy - the first in 8 years and Björk produced the mother of all breakup albums and took us on an emotional journey through icy barren land. We met Little Boots in Copenhagen and it was a true pleasure - so nice + she gave us a sneak peek of her then upcoming (awesome) album. Video Premiere: Róisín Murphy - House Of Glass (Maurice Fulton Remix)

Hot damn right! We know Róisín Murphy is a genius but she's taken it even further. Her Maurice Fulton remixxx video to House Of Glass uses the intertwining scenes from her self-directed & stellar Unputdownable video! Now those gorgeous scenes get to shine in a whole new light. With the lipsynching in synch, too. Love it! The album version is a bit more airy and we really like this amped up feeling. This new groove, oh yes baby! Dat bassline tho. Sick! Dat funk tho! NUTS. The song is very personal to Ró as it's about her time in Sheffield as a teenager attending arts college and meeting former boyfriend Mark Brydon, whom she started Moloko with. It's a privilege to be invited like this. Top marks!

The delicious Unputdownable from Róisín Murphy's stellar album Hairless Toys just got a video! Ró directed it herself and continues the superb visuals harking back to glorious Italian cinema in the 70's. Love it! We get gorgeous shots filled with quirk, murder mystery, cabaret and amazing outfits + those Christophe Coppens masks! What's not to love? Top notch!

Róisín Murphy is currently on tour and serving it UP hard Hairless Toys style! Love it! We're also in love with the trippy video to stunning single Evil Eyes and we couldn't be happier to hear the remixes. The Claptone mix is club realness with a thumpin' beat and amped up vibe. Love the mix of dance mix and intelligent lyrics. Hocus pocus for ya nerve! It's hot and tight and needs to be played worldwide stat! Severino And Nico De Ceglia's take is equally as thrilling with an electro beat and and a deep groove that deserves to be on repeat. H o t! ENJOY! Update: Yas, more remixes! The Hercules & Love Affair tweak is a glorious electro disco stomper that we cannot get enough of. SO nice! Catz n' Dogz hypnotize with their take that reminds us an early 00's vibe. A thrusting and dark voyage into deep hocus pocus. ENJOY!
