Clean Bandit - Show Me Love (Robin S. Cover)

UK classical house collective Clean Bandit are having a huge year with their Rather Be hitting #1 and playing for huge crowds. We can't stop playing their excellent live cover of Robin S.' eternal funky house classic Show Me Love. As late as yesterday our iPhone started playing the original and we got our groove on putting our trainers on, haha. What we especially love about this cover is the seamless blend of electronic and organic. The cello and violin are on fire! Not to mention how incredibly slick and flawless the vocals are. So damn perfect! Enjoooy! Fanks Michael!

St. Vincent - Live @ Saturday Night Live

St. Vincent brought the house down at SNL yesterday with her irresistible mix of art rock, awesome choreography and humour. Gotta have it all baby! Her two singles Digital Witness and Birth In Reverse from her 2014 eponymous album sounded magical and her vocals were truly outstanding. Especially the latter had us mesmerized with its minimalistic setting, lighting effects, movements and most importantly flawless musical execution. She came out blazing on top and now we really wanna see her live! Enjoy below!

Bruce Springsteen - Royals (Lorde Cover)

We love when artists out on tour change up the setlist to tap into the local flavour. Also, we love when people have a finger on the pulse of things. Both came together beautifully last night when Bruce Springsteen surprised the audience in Auckland, New Zealand by opening his show with a solo performance of local superstar Lorde's Royals. Yes, classic harmonica and all! We love that his vocal is on point to. He's clearly listened to this track a lot. Nice! The song's topic is actually perfect for the Springsteen songbook - money, working class and dreaming of big things. Safe to say the crowd went wild, and so would we. Nice, nice! Check it out below!

Sky Ferreira - You're Not the One (Live at The Newtown Sessions)

We loooove Sky Ferreira's You're Not the One and cannot wait until next Tuesday when her debut album Night Time, My Time drops. This live version has a harder sound than the final released version and we love this raw sound. Although they have a great audio engineer there is no denying how good she sounds and how tight her live band is! The craving seeing her live just hit us big time and we need to make that happen soon for sure! Enjoy! For the live video click here

Emel Mathlouthi - All Is Full of Love (Björk Cover)

Knowing that several of Tunisian singer Emel Mathlouthi's original songs are protest songs and anthems for the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions this cover plays straight into our heart. Her sublime live version of Björk's eternal All Is Full of Love is filled to the brim with love, light and hope. The acoustics of the venue bounce off Emel's voice and we're getting celestial feelings listening - we know Björk would love too. Such a nice and relaxing moment, but also an important one. Knowing that there is love in absolute darkness and despair when your world is in uproar is important to rememeber. When the title is repeated over and over it feels like a chant and a spiritual lesson. Near the end Emel's voice soars high above and it's like her spirit breaks free from man-made chains. Love is truly like a wild flower, it can grow in the harshes conditions and even break through the pavement if it has to. Enjoy and grab the free download below.
