Björk - Sacrifice + Thunderbolt (Death Grips Remixes) - Premiere

OK, so we are in love with both remixes from the second series of Björk's Biophilia Remix Series. This time it's Sacrifice and Thunderbolt who are getting new outfits courtesy of Death Grips. We love the groove, the depths and the urgency of both tracks. Top marks from us! Originals here and here! As we're getting one new series every other week, this baby will be out on Monday the 30th as download, CD and vinyl! Death Grips consists of blastbeat drummer Zach Hill, keyboardist Andy Morin and vocalist Stefan Burnett. This experimental hip-hop project started out in Sacramento, California, and put out its first mixtape 2011, and are now signed to major player Epic.

Björk - Biophilia Remixes Part One - Giveaway

Björk's Biophilia project is way more than ambitious and gutsy. It's roadmapping the future and exploring new ways of communication. Tying together aspects of music, science and human nature in ways only Björk could. So many amazing people are involved creating the apps, visuals, tour, music, instruments. We love it! Last week saw the release of the latest chapter - part 1 (8 in total) of the Biophilia Remix Series. To celebrate we have 2 of 'em on CD to give away. Yay! Marina and The Diamonds - Starring Role (Acoustic Version) - Premiere

We first wrote about the incredible Starring Role demo way back in November. Just now, Marina Diamandis dropped the acoustic video and it's some powerful stuff. We kinda need a whole new dictionary of words to describe her. She transcends our usual lingo, haha! Sooo looking forward to her album Electra Heart dropping on April 30th. And the email we got from her last week said she'll release an acoustic version of it in the next 6 months. HELL YES!  You don't love me, big fucking deal. Oh no Marina, we do love ya and it is a big deal! So talented!

Little Boots - Every Night I Say A Prayer (Original Mix) - Premiere + Free Download

Little Boots dropped her Andy Butler of Hercules and Love Affair produced  vinyl 12" Every Night I Say Prayer over the weekend. And here is the original mix of it and the free download! The week just had a great start! We really like that this is not like Boots or Hercules usually sounds like, it's def its own entity and we hope they continue to work together! Looking at the Boots website it looks like the video will drop today too - we'll keep you updated.
