One of our most played tracks on our gym playlist just got a video! Nicki Minaj looks ferosh hangin' on a Hawaiian beach in the video to Starships! We just wish it had a narrative + a badass iconic choreography. Oh well, you can win 'em all. The track is sick though! Thanks Red One! We're higher than a motherfucker!

YACHT - Le Goudron (Brigitte Fontaine Cover) - Video Premiere + Free Download

Portland based YACHT does a cover of Brigitte Fontaine and the Art Ensemble Of Chicago's 1969 track Le Goudron and we love it. The original's experimental jazz and spoken word feel is replaced with neon lights and bleeps. Like YACHT has taken their mother's vintage outfits and remixed 'em for a Friday night out. The video's DIY feel only highlights it. Nice! Original here and the English insane lyrics heeeere. Also, don't miss Brigitte Fontaine's corker of a song with Grace Jones from last year - Dancefloor. Two of our favorite badasses on the same track? Believe it! Kicking off the weekend early - Lana Del Rey and Azealia Banks whip it up with this brand new electric take on Blue Jeans courtesy of Smims&Belle (Mark Foster and Isom Innis from Foster the People). It's def gonna go down smooth with some spirits and some high tops! Need to dance to this stat! We just wish it was dem girls together in the studio, not cut and pasted Lana vocals.
