Premiere: Karin Park - Look What You've Done

Wow, wow, wow! Listen to what Karin Park has cooked up for us in her church in Djura, Sweden - population 364! She's taken a super catchy approach for a session of sweet Apocalypse Pop - her new album, out March 2nd 2015. The title also feels like a perfect fitting theme for her lyrics and music. You're sucking me dry, woooo...I should run, run, run, wooo.... It sounds so damn catchy and awesome but also slightly worrying. Love it! Look What You've Done is a gem glowing with an organic bright light. It sounds industrial, raw and sharp and we can't get enough. Really niiiice. Enjoy below! Thoughts?

Premiere: Karin Park - Shine

Karin Park casually uploaded her new fantastic single Shine 30 minutes ago. Wonder if she was in her church in Djura, Sweden - population 364, on her wifi just loading her goodies for us. OK, enough rambling! We're absolutely in love with it and her characteristic darkness paired with warmth. Over a black forest of sounds her steely (in the best way) voice glimmers with affection. How beautiful poetry is this: even if there's no way home, even if there's nowhere to go, even when you know it's all your fault - let my love shine into the darkness of your mind. It reminds us of Sweden's superb 20th century poet Karin Boye and her mix of love and despair, light and darkness dancing in a forest of emotions and hope for a better day. This year is off to an amazing start and we cannot wait to hear material from the upcoming album. Top marks!

Margaret Berger - I Feed You My Love (Ignas Klej Remix)

Norway's finest Margaret Berger made a huge splash all over Europe in May with her Karin Park and MachoPsycho penned I Feed You My Love. It's safe to say that Eurovision will never sound the same after this baby hitting #4! The gritty sound of the original is addicitive for sure but how 'bout getting a bit smooth too? Lithuanian producer Ignas Klej has created on hell of a bootleg remix! The hard drum and the urgency of the synths are gone for a more mellow and soothing atmosphere. The dream pop elements are more than compelling - they're perfection! Niiice! We're feeding the idea this should become an official release! Enjoy! Click here for M.B performing this in Malmö, Sweden last month!

Exclusive - Karin Park - Restless (Hannah Wants Remix)

Last Friday Karin Park premiered the badass video to Restless - shot partially in the church she lives in. This week we bring you an exclusive first listen to the addictive minimal remix from London DJ Hannah Wants! Sweet! We love Karin's distinct voice paired with this minimalisic beat, and it evokes images of Dalston Superstore's basement with bodies moving in the strobing light. Restless is receiving a lot of DJ lovin' which is awesome - don't miss the Ladytron remix that premiered a while ago either! Enjoy!

Karin Park - Restless - Video Premiere

Very awesome start to the weekend - Karin Park drops the video to Restless! Filmed in the church she lives in it's the perfect setting to the badass atmosphere that the track creates. Plus, Karin living in a disco church - hell yes! Makes perfect sense. Could this be the area where she grew up? Djura, Sweden, population 364. The setting outside looks incredible. We're gonna have to find out! We love the sleek electro feel paired with gorgeous nature, such a great combination. Have a look below and click here for more info about the track. Her album Highwire Poetry is out May 28th!
