Natasha Khan a.k.a Bat For Lashes is readying her third album The Haunted Man, and tonight she premiered the brand new track + video Laura. A steely and haunting piano ballad - and wow what a video! Powerful! The album artwork is created by Ryan McGinley, famed for his naturalistic imagery. Get ready for the album release on October 15th the single is out tomorrow the 24th! Watch below! Laleh - Some Die Young - Live @ Nasjonal Minnekonsert 22.7.12

Yesterday marked one year since the terror attacks in Norway where Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people in two carefully planned attacks in Oslo and Utøya. So much hate in one person is almost unfathomable and at the same time it's evident that it exists throughout the ages. The concert in Oslo yesterday was therefore highly important to show that love and solidarity overcomes hate. Laleh opened the night with her Some Die Young and it was beautiful and poignant to say the least. The extended intro of Tine Thing Helseth playing Mitt Lille Land was incredible and made us teary-eyed and watching the whole thing cry for sure. Watch both below. Amy Winehouse - The Girl Done Good - A Sunday Doc

Ugh, tomorrow marks a year since the passing of Amy Winehouse. Time flies and it's still such a sad loss for us music lovers. In her short but incredible career Amy did things other merely can dream of. Her two studio albums are landmarks and we know already they are timeless pieces. Still it's heartbreaking that she gave us a soundtrack to live our lives to - but couldn't find that inner peace herself. We can only hope that where ever you are Amy now it's filled with more light and music for you! In the wait for the definitive look at her life and career here's a UK doc that was made during her lifetime - The Girl Done Good. Yes you did!
