Video Premiere: Lykke Li - Love Me Like I'm Not Made Of Stone

Instead of coming out guns blazing like 3,5 years ago - Lykke Li wears her heart on her sleeve when kicking off her new era. Love Me Like I'm Not Made Of Stone is raw and painful to say the least. Brutally honest and comes after Lykke had a horrible breakup in her personal life. The whole album I Never Learn is out May 5th and is promised to be filled with just power ballads. If by power ballad Li means knocking the wind out of us leaving us breathless and heartbroken she's hit the nail on the head. The Tarik Saleh directed video is a treatment of piercing minimalistic pain. It's actually painful to watch the sadness in her eyes and hearing the song.

A devil's hand across my heart, as we dance through the dark. Go ahead, go ahead, love me deep, until you can't...

Says Lykke: I wrote No Rest for the Wicked in Sweden when I was packing up my shit, and I’d just gotten out of a relationship and it was a horrible time. I just had the hurt, shame, sadness, guilt, longing. In the verse, I’m referring to myself pleading guilty but I’m referring to all of us.

She's produced the album herself with longtime co-producer Björn Yttling and now also L.A mastermind Greg Kurstin. This album marks the end of the trilogy that started with her amazing 2008 debut Youth Novels and 2011's flawless follow up Wounded Rhymes. Listen below and tread gently if you're sensitive souls like us.

Video Premiere: Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious

Ellie Goulding's 2014 is off to a bangin' start as she claimed the first UK #1 album of the year with Halcyon Days. That's no mean feat as it's 65 weeks since the album first was released. It has to be noted that the rebooted deluxe version is on sale for £4.99 on iTunes UK at the moment which surely has helped a lot. Good value though as counting the videos you get 34 tracks for that price. Anyway, the video to her Greg Kurstin and Nate Ruess collaboration Goodness Gracious dropped today and is a sweet, feel good, neon party in Los Angeles. We love the carefree vibe and awesome title. We want goodness gracious to become a new expression for everyone, not just sweet mildmannered ladies. Imagine going out and people are like; goodness gracious this is a very tasty drink. This neeeds to happen stat, haha! So cool. Watch below!

Sia - Kill and Run - Premiere

Sia's brand new Kill and Run just premiered in full! Wow, The Great Gatsby soundtrack is shaping up to be truly gorgeous! Written by Ms. Furler and Greg Kurstin - this is a song that creates a space full of nerves. A war of nerves in fact. The sparse instrumentation, the icy strings, Sia's haunting vocal delivery and the harmonies. All just perfect. Listen below; thoughts?
