It's flawless, packs a big emotional punch and has stood the test of time like no other. Both the album version and Todd Terry remix of Wrong still get a lot of plays here regularly. There's something irresistible about the wistful tone and club beat paired with Tracey Thorn's stellar vocals. Turkey based producer Pherotone does a 180 and infuses his bootleg remix with tranquility and peace. It's bright and utterly lovely and acctually reminds some of EBTG's day pre becoming darlings of the club world in 1995. Too good this is! Enjoooy!

We're still having FKA twigs' amazing Two Weeks on repeat ovah here. Something about it is strangely soothing and sinister at the same time. Hypnotizing would be a word to use, too. This bootleg by mysterious Kaxton, who describes their style as Fresh As Shit Tunes, infuses some *tropical* flavourings into the mix and we absolutely love it. The darkness of the original is paired with a sunnier approach and the mix is addictive. Like a sweet drink with a hit of dark rum that shakes you up. Quench dat thirst FKA KAXTON! L o v e it!

Yes, yes! Janet Jackson's iconic 1987 funk anthem The Pleasure Principle from her landmark '86 album Control becomes the perfect Valentine's Day bootleg gift. Thank u L.A duo Classixx! We love how the dance beat is replaced by a golden shine and smoothed out edges. We loooove the original but how awesome to hear this more softer take. The vocals are lifted from the official acapella of the Shep Pettibone 12" Vocal Mix so no wonder they sounds extra crisp and tight! Classixx ain't messin' around! Wise move with the latter! Come more than 25 years on and it still lights up any dance floor around the world. Caron Wheeler's lead vocals are on point with the gorgeous backing vocals providing a sturdy friend + how amazing is the music and production providing such an iconic spine to sing a long to + making it impossible to sit still. No wonder as it's co-produced by Nellee Hooper, later known for his incredible work with the likes of Björk, Massive Attack and Sinéad O'Connor to mention just a few. Lana's organic darkness is of course perfect as the backdrop to the stuttering high goodness of the $hit twigs is dealing. Both original tracks speaks directly to (putting it mildly) a love interest about wanting something really badly and getting high from it. Higher than a motherfucker from dope and diamonds...
