Free Download: Ji Nilsson – Encore (Boeoes Kaelstigen Remix)

Love this! Ji Nilsson's groovy n' wistful Encore with that crazy good hook, when this song is over so are we, gets a huge *tropical* flavoured remix by Boeoes Kaelstigen and we cannot even. When this song is over so are we, haha. The added deeper groove and shift in tempo is just stellar production and brings out a whole new set of emotions. Ji's vocals are already on point but this new backdrop really makes it shine in a whole new light. Damn, so good! It makes us wanna dance and make sure to bring a whole box of Kleenex for all the tears we will shed under those pulsating lights and luckily there we'll be plenty of encores as this baby will be on repeat! Enjooy the stream + DL below!

Free Download: Renato Enoch - Habits (Stay High) [Tove Lo Cover]

Tove Lo has had a true monster sleeper hit this year with her Habits (Stay High) reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 more than a year after its original release. Also, she's the highest charting Swede in the US since Ace of Base hit #1 with The Sign in 1994. Wow! We've had this stellar Oliver Nelson remix on absolute repeat in all its club sound glory! 21 y.o Brazilian singer/songwriter/designer/dreamer Renato Enoch removes the party anthem feel of the Lo original and brings out the gorgeous sadness with his amazing voice and piano playing. The sadness is palpable and shimmers with that light only longing for a lost love can bring. It sounds a lil' like Adele's Someone Like You now and that of course is top marks! Bem feito Renato! Free Download: Kindness Feat. Robyn - Who Do You Love? (Joakim Remix)

Kindness and Robyn's Who Do You Love? premiered two months ago and has been a firm favourite here ever since. It's dreamy, experimental and wistful - love! Now stellar Parisian DJ and producer Joakim Bouaziz has turned this awesomeness into a cool dance remix and extended it into an orgy of sounds that's 7+ minutes long. Niiiiice! Plus it's a free download and released on a cold Wednesday. Xmas came early and unexpected for sure. We love that the church organ is a keeper and how wonderful the vocals shine when paired with that groovy club beat. Really sweet! Enjoooy below and click here for the .mp3!

Free Download: Whitney Houston - It's Not Right but It's Okay (Bird Peterson Remix)

Whitney Houston's 1998 album My Love Is Your Love is easily our favourite from her catalogue. Recorded quite quickly over 6 weeks it sounded (and still does) mad contemporary, funky, amazingly diverse and effortless. Love! Its crowning glory, for us, is the stellar super diss It's Not Right but It's Okay. Whitney's insanely perfect vocals, which earned her a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, paired with the tight and easily recognizable Darkchild production from Rodney Jerkins is a dream. Now, Austin based amazing producer Bird Peterson has put a new spin on it and takes the track down a darker route. This new take is more sinister and brooding for sure. The bassline rumbles and really shakes the sentiment of those iconic vocals up! We would not want to be that cheating rat, that's for sure! Stream below, download here

Free Download: Madonna - Frozen (FKA twigs' LP1 Style)

Wow, love this! Amazing! FKA twigs has with her debut album LP1 quickly established her as a sonic explorer and innovator. Her sound is distinct for her 100% with deep basslines, soaring high vocals paired with down pitched ones. It's suggestive and deeply transfixing to say the least. When Madonna released Frozen in 1998 she transformed herselfoth with a brand new electronic sound. M and Patrick Leonard's amazing lament paired with William Orbit's stellar co-production and Craig Armstrong's string arrangement (and not forgetting Chris Cunningham's video) truly is one for the ages. Now Spanish producer Álvaro Estévez Delgado has created an amazing alternate universe where Madonna's classic becomes an FKA styled production. We love it - a lot! Everything is here, the changed vocal pitch both ways, the dramatic and minimalistic background with the icy strings intact. You only see what your eyes want to see is chanted over and over and really embeds the message of the song in one single sentence. Imagine a real FKA MDNA collaboration with Álvaro, William etc, etc naturally! Too damn good. Thoughts?
