Premiere: MØ - Drum

HELL YAS! Brand new MØ and she's collaborated on DRUM with Charli XCX, Bloodpop and Noonie Bao! Damn MØ, you're too kind to casually drop this (OK, she did it on BBC Radio 1, haha) just in time for us to go nuts for more Danish maiden material! Drum sounds a bit more like her debut album and so far only album - No Mythologies To Follow. Of course we don't mind that one bit. Lovin' the rawer vocals and that beat with razor sharp edges. Premiere: Lady GaGa - Million Reasons

Lady GaGa is currently out on her dive bar tour with Bud Light and promoting upcoming album Joanne (out Oct 21). Since she's a huge profile of course she's up for endless scrutinizing of what she's doing or comments on what she should be doing. It's therefore nice to see and hear her releasing material that sounds truly heartfelt. Million Reasons sounds more effortless to us than lead single Perfect Illusion and like Stefani truly enjoys herself singing. It's bluesy and country, ya'll, with a sweet piano and belting chorus intertwined with soft verses. NICE. Plus how sweet are those lyrics?! Premiere: The Weeknd & Daft Punk - Starboy

The Weeknd and Daft Punk are slaying with Starboy - the brand new single they've done together and just dropped. Such an excellent track that seamlessly blends the classic soundscapes of both acts. Yeah, baby! Absolutely lovin' Abęl's fantastic vocals and depth against the robo-funk of the beat, complete vith Daft vocoder backing vocals and all. It's a dizzying song filled with starry nights and despair, love and warmth trickling down through it all. This also marks the first new Daft music since their 2013 Random Access Memories album, and also new Weeknd since his major breakthrough last year with Beauty Behind the Madness. Top marks!  

Video Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Whatever

As if Róisín Murphy wasn't a genius beforehand with her music and directing her own stunning visuals. Her self-directed video to Whatever is a marvellous social commentary on the age of social media. And she's on the money as we first saw the teaser on Instagram + we've been busy with Snapchat and Facebook for work all day and squeezing in some blog writing, too. The song is taken, naturally, from her Take Her Up To Monto album and plays like a lullaby of sorts with spooky elements. The lyrics fit perfectly to the everyday stress of life in a digital age. Stellar work Ró! PS. Your emojis are amazing. <3  

Premiere: Bloodboy - Keep Your Disease

Yes, yes, yes! Fantastic new Bloodboy! Keep Your Disease is an instant repeater and something any rockstar would want in their catalogue of hits! Lovin' the mix of rowdy rock and new wave synths PLUS those on point Lexie Papilion vocals and the energy and fire she brings! Her clipped vocal style plus the lyrics makes for such a fiery punch - love it. We raved about her debut single Human Female in April and we're albout this one too, as you can see, haha. Those drums tho! Fuego! Any self respecting music programmer anywhere should add this to their lists - we're sure as hell are gonna add it to our official Spotify when it becomes available. Enjoooy!
