El Perro Del Mar - Walk On By - Video Premiere

Sarah Assbring a.ka. El Perro Del Mar jumps head first into the 90's in her video to Walk On By. It's an exquisite song hitting all the right notes. Melancholic, with a terribly good groove and a sense of being incredibly strong for the right reasons. Talk about bittersweet lyrics! The video is an orgy in lo-fi images with oversaturated colours and fast cutting - as found on MTV in the early 90's. Even her striped fully buttoned shirt looks like it came off the Chanel 1993 runway! Her upcoming album Pale Fire is out November 12th on brand new Swedish label Ingrid and we cannot wait that long we thinks! Enough with tormenting us Sarah! We neeeed your new album! Enjoy the new video below!

"In this world, you think you have no reason to believe in love or in anything much. Then one day, when you least expect it, a light appears on the far horizon. It's a flickering light, begging you to come, telling you to stay away. It's the pale fire. The promise of love and hope - all consuming and elusive. Yet for a moment, it brings clarity in the darkness, future to the ruins and power to the fight." - El Perro Del Mar

Tori Amos - Gold Dust - Full Album Stream

Tori Amos released her new album Gold Dust this week and we've been playing it non stop for the last few days. We're blown away and so happy to have these gorgeous new reimagined versions of songs from ten of her twelve albums. Released to celebrate 20 years since her breakthrough with Little Earthquakes - Tori has teamed up once again with the Metropole Orchestra after their successful 2010 concert in Amsterdam - the first orchestral concert of her career. Also on-board is long time collaborator John Philip Shenale as co-producer and arranger. Worth noting is that he's behind the arrangements to every Tori album bar two! We love how lush and effortless the whole album sounds. It's a real labour of love for sure - Tori plays her Bösendorfer and sings her material with a passion that really connects with us, but takes our infatuation further. The added new arrangements and classical setting only makes us that more excited for what lies ahead, not just happy to hear the old material in a new setting. The glowing reviews from her current tour supporting the album makes us immensely happy too. It's impossible to pick just one song but the soaring chorus in Silent All These Years made our heart burst from happiness. Listen to the whole album below. Enjoy!

Loreen - My Heart Is Refusing Me (International Version) + Crying Out Your Name

Loreen has been busy readying her dubut album Heal which is out October 24th, after years in the making. On it we get this tasty new version of her Scandinavian hit from last year - My Heart Is Refusing Me. We love that she won Eurovision with Euphoria and upped the quality of the contest big time and then went on to actually selling the single across Europe. She has major star quality and a banger of a follow up single! This new version we can hear being played everywhere - it sounds like a massive hit and we love that it's big on emotions and so dark. Top marks! Since this was one of the entries in the Swedish tryouts for Eurovision last year and a top 10 hit in Scandinavia that market is getting its own release - Crying Out Your Name. This isn't such an in your face kinda song, more like a slow burner that will make people interested in the album. Listen to both below! For the original 2011 version of  My Heart... click here! Enjoy!

Lady GaGa - High Princess/Stache - New Track

Looks like this is the first taster from Lady GaGa's upcoming album Artpop! High Princess/Stache is produced by German DJ and producer Anton Zaslavski a.k.a Zedd and is a club techno heavy track that reminds us of Daft Punk! The double entendre regarding stache is pretty fun! Or perhaps it's just a blunt question? Haha. GaGa wants us to get messed up! Thoughts?

Madonna - 30th Anniversary Mixtape

Today, 30 years ago, Madonna's debut single Everybody was released. The sleeve did not feature her and it was mainly a club record as it missed to enter the Billboard Hot 100. We absolutely love that beginning! So underground and really opening up for anything to happen. Everybody was recorded in New York during the summer of 1982 on her own budget, Madonna was 24 and had a $5,000 advance from the label and a two 12 inch single deal with Sire Records. We all know what came of it - some 300 million records sold since. It's mind boggling to even think about what she's accomplished since those early Danceteria club nights!

We've been thinking about a fun way to say Happy Anniversary  - and came to think of the notes in Something To Remember from 1995.
"So much controversy has swirled around my career this past decade that very little attention ever gets paid to my music."

So to kick off the celebration we penetrated the surface and have put together 12 amazing album cuts that stretch from her 1983 debut album to 2012's MDNA. For us, M has always been about the music first - and we love the rawness and frankness of these tracks. From her singing about the loss of her mother to social commentary to the wetness of oral sex. It's all there! For Madonna performing Everybody for the very first time in 1982 click here! Enjoy!
Also, if you head on over to M's official site she's having a contest to celebrate with some awesome prizes.
