Premiere: Little Boots - Taste It

Yes, yes! Little Boots is back with a brand new single and also an EP announcement. NICE! First, ahem, taster from Business Pleasure is slow burning Taste It with a hypnotic beat and it's kind of the opposite of an earworm, but still manages to get under your business suit and feel you up whilst feeding you liquorice. Salty and sweet all in one go! Produced Com Truise and Jas from Simian Mobile Disco it has that special minimalistic glow. The single is out n o w and the full EP drops on December 1st. Gotta say we're wild with the art direction if this new era. The early 90's power suit, Casio watch and stylish bob is most becoming. Also it's extra fitting IRL too since this is the first full release for LB on her own label On Repeat. Get that business Boots! Enjoy!    

Premiere: Jessie Ware - Want Your Feeling

Jessie Ware continues her gleaming stream of mellow awesomeness with brand new Want Your Feeling. The juxtaposition of the happy tone of the music and then the desperate lyrics. The verses flow like sadness and when the chorus kicks in a high of some sort kicks in. But we have a feeling Jessie's feeling isn't all that good. It's intriguing to listen to for sure. Produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco the production is tight yet breathes easily. We officially cannot wait for the Tough Love album to drop next month! Bring it on! Update: Holy moly! It's co-written by Dev Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange! Argh, so much talent on one track! Love it!

Little Boots drops her sophomore album Nocturnes in May and teases with this brand new track - Motorway. Produced with Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford and Andy Butler of Hercules and Love Affair it sees Boots heading into a new terrain of more minimalistic beats that definitely showcases the 'night' of the album title. Beth Ditto paraphrases Madonna's Justify My Love for her video to I Wrote The Book. It's well executed so we don't mind at all. It's fun and flirty and has vogueing in it! Dance baby dance! The song itself has an early 90's club vibe so makes perfect sense.
