Love that awesome Jessie Ware has done a live cover of legendary Nina Simone for BBC Radio 2! Both are a singer's singer so it's literally perfection. That's All I Want From You - taken from the 1978 album Baltimore is a heartfelt ballad with lush strings and a piano only a Simone album could have since she was so brilliant at playing it. The lyrics are hopeful with a streak of sorrow and sound so good when both sing it. Since Nina was 20 years into her game in '78 and was 45 y.o her voice has a depth that only living life can bring. The Ware version sounds like a brilliant b-side from a 70's vinyl single and her voice is so powerful and sounds so sincere. Top marks! ♡

Yes, yes! Jessie Ware's insanely good Champagne Kisses is on constant repeat. In fact, her whole Tough Love album era feels like one for the ages as a classic. It's one amazing album! This house bootleg by Norway's finest KREAM has a wonderful DIY feel to it. Occasionally the original version shines through the superb layer of piano house and JW's vocals have been slightly pitched down. It sounds like one of those bootlegs that would make a dance floor go mental in a crazy hot DJ set with drinks flowing and the bassline making the walls shake. ENJOY it and have an awesome start to the weekend, ya'll!

Along comes the first official remix of her stunning Champagne Kisses by Manchester based Sam O'Neill a.k.a. TCTS and drives us wild This joy filled house treatment is one of the best of the whole Tough Love album era! That's really saying something since there are so many ace mixes from this era out already. We especially love how Jessie's soaring chorus meets with the mad catchy piano and that jumping bassline! They were made for each other for sure. Awesome start to the weekend. Have fun!
