Jessie Ware - Tough Love (Live @ BBC Radio 6 Music)

Jessie Ware stopped by Lauren Laverne over at BBC Radio 6 Music earlier today to have a chat and sing her stellar single Tough Love. Wow, did she sing it or what!? Apart from singing it one time at a live gig in Poland, this was the major live premiere in front of millions of listeners. We love the understated live production - a lone synth and Jessie's vocals front and center. That's plenty for someone with her caliber for sure. She also sang her wonderful Wildest Moments from 2012's Devotion album with a cool background story to go with. The whole clip is just under 30 minutes and well worth listening to from start to finish. Love her and her energy! Enjoooy!

Jessie Ware double post! Oh yes! She's on a roll and we're keeping up for sure. New album Tough Love drops later this year and she just released new track Share It All online. Hell yes, we wanna share it all. Much like the stunning first single from this project this is a slow burning track that sounds rich and beautiful. This one however breathes a bit easier as it's happier and the start of something brand new. A romantic liaison with all the components. The moment when both want the same thing and neither know exactly where the other part stand. We love the understated production and we this new album kinda right now. Enjoy! Jessie Ware's too-good-to-be-true single Tough Love is easily one of the top three best songs of the year in our book. That minimalistic 80's Prince feel and raw emotions in a flawless falsetto does things to us for sure. The album with the same name drops later this year and we cannot wait! Near future - come to us! Luckily Seattle based DJ Dave Kudera has done a perfect edit that adds an awesome club feel to it - that drum machine is so hot! Jessie Ware's stunning new single Tough Love is easily one of the year's best and we've had it on repeat since day one. The just released video is equally amazing with its somber atmosphere. What really stuck us is how lonely and alone everyone looks. Plus Jessie is sometimes in black & white but turns into colour as soon as she turns her back... We love the sharp contrast of country side and urban enviroment as well. It's a dissonance much like a tough love perhaps. You love someone with all that entails but if you sense something is wrong at the same time it'll torment you like crazy at the same time. Have a look below, it's a lot to take in. Jessie Ware's Prince influenced slow burner Tough Love is a masterpiece in its rawness and simplicity. So incredibly stunning. Jessie's friend and remix collaborator Cyril Hahn sprinkles his magic over her glowing voice and heats up the beat. We love that he completely changes the vibe without twisting the integrity of the original meaning. The added dance beat doesn't remove the beautiful serenity somehow.
