Mariah Carey is such a great singer, and during the 90's she was famous for re-recording her vocals for all the house remixes of her hits. Not to mention being so involved in the process, not just outsourcing via her label to get club plays. Her classic work with club legends Clivillés & Cole, David Morales and Junior Vasquez still fill many a dance floor around the world - just last month we danced to the David Morales Def Club Mix of Dreamlover in Stockholm! Badass L.A DJ Josh Peace mixed together her most classic 12" vinyls in 1999 and how awesome to have it online now too! Love the occasional vinyl crackles since they are authentic and cozy somehow. Mariah Carey & Miguel - #Beautiful - Video Premiere

Mariah Carey and Miguel's hashtagged single #Beautiful has really grown on us over the week! One might even say we love it! The summer feeling is incredible and the overall sound we think will appeal to a large crowd, not just Mimi's lambs and us, haha. Chart predictions are it's gonna have a HUGE first week in the US. Nice! Now, the video... The thing we love most about the track is it simplicity and laid back approach. The visuals not so much. It looks contrived and the chemistry is lacking for sure. It's also so overtly sexualized towards the female body and we've seen that a billion times already. But then again, this IS a Mariah Carey video - it's wouldn't be complete without short skirts, flowing hair and high notes, haha. Moving on - we love the song! 

Mariah Carey & Miguel - #Beautiful - Premiere

Mariah Carey is peparing for the release of her 14th studio album - lead single #Beautiful with Miguel just premiered! Yeap, she really went there and used a hastag in her title! Much like Triumphant (Get 'em) MC herself does not actually show up until 01:30 in the song, unless you count some harmonies! Wonder what that's all about? This mid-tempo track showcases a change in sound - guitar driven and kinda organic. You like? Thoughts?

Mariah Carey's Stargate produced Almost Home for Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful movie premiered in full just now! A midtempo track with those classic Stargate synths and patented Carey coos and soaring chorus. Mariah Carey stopped by Jimmy Fallon and The Roots and did a flawless All I Want For Christmas Is You with the most amazing backup singers ever! This version contains only instruments you'd find in an elementary school classroom and plays so well! As it happens this song is one of our all time favorite Christmas songs ever, haha. So we are more than happy! If this doesn't melt your heart, you need a big kiss and hug underneath the mistletoe for sure!
