Premiere: Madonna - Living For Love (Strobe Living For 92 Remix)

Madonna's 1992/1993 NYC house era with the Erotica album is regarded as one of her absolute best and also the most controversial. She, as alter ego Dita Parlo, really pushed against a lot of notions what a pop star should do and act, more so than ever then in her career at the time. How fitting then Pittsburgh DJ Eric Cohen a.k.a. Strobe is paying homage to this particular era as MDNA once again is pushing against society with the Rebel Heart era. This time regarding how a 56 y.o woman should act. If we're lucky enough we'll all be 56 at some point so let's try and have fun and do what we wanna do even then. The Living For 92 mix of Living For Love finds inspiration in those classic reel-to-reel house mixes that were aimed at sweaty and dimly lit clubs around the world in the early 90's. Judging by how groovy this remix is we've found a future outlet connecting to that golden era of club life. Enjoy below! Thoughts?

Madonna VS. Disclosure Feat. Sam Smith - Latch To Love

Wow, this sounds really awesome! Madonna's Rebel Heart lead single Living For Love has proved to be a real grower and we especially lover the gospel influences paired with that house beat. How awesome then to hear Sam Smith's soulful vocals from his 2012 Disclosure collaboration - Latch over it! The MDNA beat really suits Sam's voice; imagine a full collaboration between all three acts! *death drops* Since this mashup is so seamless this kinda needs to happen in the nearest of futures! Thank you DJ V-Sigma for this pleasure. Listen + download below. Enjooy!

Video Premiere: Madonna - Living For Love

Madonna is turning up the heat for her Rebel Heart album campaign with some scorching visuals to lead single Living For Love. This era has been marred majorly with leaks - all the demos first and then the whole super deluxe album. How fitting that MDNA pays tribute to her entire video catalogue surrounded by aggressive bulls! We can spot dance moves from Papa Don't Preach, Take A Bow styling, Express Yourself-style quote, Girl Gone Wild vibes. They're all there! She looks really turnt up and well yeah obviously since it's a M video, haha. The visuals are directed by J.A.C.K (Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen) with styling from Bea Åkerlund and moves by Megan Lawson. And oh *SNAP*; for the next 24 hours the HQ version of the video can be found on Snapchat! To watch it there open the app and swipe right twice to the Discover page and tap the Snap Channel. Thoughts? Thank you Matt for the pic! Update: HQ now streaming below!

Premiere: Madonna - Living For Love (Erick Morillo Club Mix)

The mixes we've heard so far from MDNA's Living For Love remix EP have all been heavy handed on the EDM vibes. Which to us goes in stark contrast to the elated and housey feel of the original. Lo and behold - seasoned house producer Erick Morillo comes in from the left and delivers a remix that is bound to set the hearts of M fans and house lovers on fire. We love especially that the intro teases for an awful long time and then explodes with happiness around the 3:04 mark. We'd loved if he'd kept more of the original vox - but hey this is good for a night out, just as intended. Enjoy!

Premiere: Madonna - Living For Love (Djemba Djemba Club Mix)

Madonna is truckin' along with her official Rebel Heart album campaign parallel to all those massive demo leaks. Here's the first official remix of her lead single Living For Love! DJ Djemba Djemba of the Mad Decent crowd gently treats it for club usage and is kinda too gentle, haha. That intro we definitely thought was just the standard album version. The verses gets a nice update though and the chorus with that new bassline kicks in and flows like cocktails at a wet bar, haha. Will you d.a.n.c.e to this one tonight?
