Video Premiere: Little Boots - Shake

Oh, just a mere 2 years after premiering the glimmering Shake, we get a kickass video to it. Thank you Little Boots! Thank gawd we have worked on our patience! Plus it was worth the wait! Following last month's video to Satellite we're getting some serious robot realness this time. We think it's ingenious to mix ballet, technology and club music. They go excellent together and create a wonderful atmosphere. Plus she's serving some Flashdance vibes and the spiders feel a bit organic so we're thinking there's an element of nature in there too. Love that she used the original single version - it's so fresh compared to the added sounds and vocals on the re-recorded album version. Top marks Boots!

Video Premiere: Little Boots - Satellite

The Little Boots epicness continues! After her excellent Pet Shop Boys remix  she drops her self directed video (w Sam Brown) to Nocturnes album closer Satellite! Filmed at the Tower Ballroom in her hometown of Blackpool it stars Annelise Gray, a badass dancer to say the least. The editing is spot on with the superb slow motion sequences paired with the kicking beat and those shining synths. Actually it reminds us a lil' bit of the wonderful mini-Robyn and mini-Snoop from earlier this summer. Enjoy below!  

Pet Shop Boys - Love is a Bourgeois Construct (Little Boots Discothèque Edit)

Wow, this is perfect! The Pet Shop Boys rushing stomper Love is a Bourgeois Construct gets infused with some serious Little Boots nocturnal darkness. Her knack for creating some seriously memorable and distinct bassline hooks remains. We really like the way the added somberness makes Neil Tennant's voice shine in the dim light that is a LB party. You gotta love anyone who can create an atmosphere for PSB that rivals their own production skillz! This track drops as the next single from Electric on September 1st, and expect a million remixes. Honestly, with these intellectually stimulating lyrcis we'd want this playing in every club and get people's groove on at the same time as the brain gets something to work with. Enjoy!  

Premiere: Little Boots - Satellite (Lindstrøm Remix)

Ooo, this is mega! Norway's finest Hans-Peter Lindstrøm remixes the new Little Boots single Satellite and unveils a whole new dimension! If a video is to be shot we'd so want this to be the video version! That added synth is too good and hits us right in our core and send tingles down our spine. So good! Plus LB must have sent him an alternate vocal take as this one feels more subdued and not as bubbly. Love it! This premiere marks the start for the Satellite remix competion by the way.
