Wow, here's Lana Del Rey's Shades of Cool and it's an awesome treat. All shades of cool in fact. Holding true to her Born To Die days it's sleek, emotive and full of love to her hopeless man. We love the juxaposition of her soaring chorus and the thunder that happens near the end. Wonderful, cool and haunting just like we love! Ultraviolence is out June 13th and we officially can't wait! 

Premiere: Lana Del Rey - West Coast (Dan Heath Orchestral Remix)

Lana Del Rey's beloved West Coast just lit up a dark night sky with shooting stars over a deserted beach front house. Composer and film scorer Dan Heath infuses the track with drama and an underlying sense of doom. It's dark, icy and irresistible. We love the restraint this version brings forward. Like secrets being told in an empty house when the heart can bear no more.     

Premiere: Lana Del Rey - West Coast (Grades Remix)

Lana Del Rey's West Coast is getting remixed from coast to coast and then some. From the UK shores, inland London area to be exact we're getting a smooth treatment from Dan Traynor a.k.a Grades. The gritty Cali beach realness is replaced by a cocktail lounge feel no less. The Nu-Disco elements are lush front and center and we're even getting an alternate vocal take complete with new lyrcis around the 2 minute mark and onwards. Very nice! Lana Del Rey's laidback West Coast anthem sees a complete revamp by Kieran Hebden a.k.a Four Tet. His characteristically intense live drums and incorporation of electronic elements in an organic environment lifts the song's dance puls to a euphoric state. We can already see people going at it to this one tonight, haha. Talk about being hot to the touch! Enjoy! Thoughts?      

Video Premiere: Lana Del Rey - West Coast

Lana Del Rey's West Coast video is hotly anticipated and already feels legendary as there will be a new version tomorrow. Will they scrap this one altogether or just minor tweaks even a new edit? This one has Lana moving in between carefree on the beach with one lover to looking darker in the backseat of a car with another. Interesting to see the use of elements such as fire and water to describe perhaps some inner turmoil. Watch below! We'll post any new video as it drops.
