Video Premiere: Lana Del Rey - Shades Of Cool

Lana Del Rey continues to outdo herself and the just released video to Shades Of Cool is one of her best yet - absolutely stunning. The track for us is one of the highlights on the Ultraviolence album with its jukebox qualities, moody mode with sharp shifts and gorgeous vocals. The visuals is a display of excellence that continues where West Coast left off. Iconic tattoo artist Mark Mahoney is perfect as the love interest with his piercing gaze, slick hairdo and hard exterior. Just like Lana likes 'em! The Cali atmosphere and vintage Americana is breathtaking and hits you like a ton of bricks. We can almost feel the warm breezes and cool ourselves in the pool and then join in for a night of debauchery. Incredible!   

Premiere: Lana Del Rey - West Coast (ZHU Remix)

By now we've heard Lana Del Rey's magnetic West Coast remixed to the moon and back. We don't mind one bit! The Ultraviolence era is kicking up at notch with several buzz singles and now a bangin' remix. Our favourite W.C mix to date! L.A based producer Steven Zhu takes the organic matter and throws it out the window. In with shiny synthetics, vocal loops, a pitched down Mana Del Rey, and a brass sample out of this world. Over this texture flows the story of what happens down on the west coast... It's intoxicating and absolutely wonderful. We need one more fix right now! Thank you Michael!

Lana Del Rey is in a nostalgic and summery mood for sure on brand new Ultraviolence track Brooklyn Baby. Sounding like a vintage jukebox track from a late 70's artist we get references to beat poetry, hippie culture and amphetamines and yeah, her boyfriend plays guitar in a band! Perhaps he's the one playing the jaunty guitar Lana hums so lovely to? Listen below! Thoughts?

The title track to Lana Del Rey's upcoming Ultraviolence album just premiered and, yep, it's exactly that. The Del Rey stories of hard love, violence and wanting someone so bad you could die continues. He hurt me and it felt like true love, he hit me and it felt like a kiss. Yikes, and the gorgeous chorus is soaring high above just like Summertime Sadness, except the vocals sound dead and flat too somehow. Like something absolutely horrific has happened and Lana sings from beyond the grave of sorts. Wow, it's a lot to take in. Listen below! Thoughts?
