Video Premiere: Björk - Lionsong

Björk released the video to Lionsong as a surprise tonight and yeap it's classic Guðmundsdóttir realness paired with visual input by Inez & Vinoodh + fashionz by Maiko Takeda. All in all - it's badass and awesome. Based around the Vulnicura album cover it's a display of hope and sorrow, sadness and laughter. Waiting for a loved one to make up his mind and not really knowing what outcome you'd prefer - just wanting to find out. The visual treatment of this tough topic is really striking and we love how otherwordly meets a very raw human waiting and feeling. Oh Björk, you really know how to make us weak at the knees!   

Video Premiere: Lady GaGa - Applause

Lady GaGa's Applause train is perhaps not gaining as much speed as anticipated by her monsters. After peaking at #2 on iTunes US it's currently langushing at #8. Charts are not something to stare blindly at so let's focus on the video! Directed by Inez & Vinoodh it kinda reminds us of GaGa's very own Alejandro video. Intercepting are some classic clown acts and a very insteresting looking bird. Ya'll have to take a look below. Let's see if this baby can do wonders for the single's chart position! Are you clapping your hands raw? Update: And 8 hours later Applause is up to #4 on iTunes. Makes sense as LG is such a visual artist! 

Björk - Moon - Video Premiere!

Moon is the official second single off Björk's Biophilia and now it has its own video. Shot during the Biophilia artwork session it's also directed, produced and art directed by Björk together with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, M/M Paris and James Merry. It looks like an improvised one take approach. We're rooting for Mutual Core to get the video treatment! When it comes to Moon we especially like the lyrics. Magical.

Björk - Biophilia - Album Cover!

Behold what just dropped in our inbox! The official album cover for Björk's soon to be released app album Biophilia - shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. It's very similar to the single covers but holds its own really well. First impression; it's right up there with other iconic Björk covers such as Homogenic and Post. Do you like it? Like belooow!

We're crazy about this photo! So beautifully and well executed and we cannot wait to see more takes from this shoot! It feels both futuristic and primordial.
