Dolly Parton - Platinum Blonde - A Sunday Documentary

We have to make sure to catch Dolly Parton on her next tour - as we've never seen her live. Would be so awesome! This BBC doc tracks her roots and even has material from her very first radio performance as a child in Tennessee & we get to meet her mama! Since this aired originally she's written the Academy Award nominated Travelin' Thru and started her own record imprint Dolly Records - and found mainstream success with her Backwoods Barbie and Better Day albums. Dolly is a brilliant songwriter and this doc shows she's excellent keeping track of her catalogue as well. We really like that she's true to her core whilst exploring the world and its opportunities.
