Their trademarked Jamie xx sound from the first album is in full swing here! Sparse instrumentation that blend with Romy and Oliver's breathy vocals and angsty lyrics. We looove the first album and the amazing singles. This one feels more like a cohesive listen judging by the first listen. Enjoy! Thoughts?

Based on what we've heard so far we are in love with The xx upcoming album Coexist. Brand new single Chained is no exception. Nice to hear a slight uptempo with Romy and Oliver's voices mixes so nicely. The album is out September 10th - can we plz hope for an early stream on Soundcloud? Thanks!

The xx - Open Eyes (Demo) - New Track!

Best Christmas ever? The xx are one of our favourite bands from the last few years, and we cannot wait for their next album. So this demo, released just in time for xmas is too exciting. Open Eyes sounds lovely! We love the heavenly humming and the characteristic guitar. Obviously it sounds like a proper demo, with traffic noise and all, but it's sure interesting to hear what they've been up to. Enjoy!
