Premiere: The Ting Tings - Wrong Club (BOIX Remix)

The Tings Ting's are on a disco high with their new 70's roller discothèque anthem Wrong Club! We love the original version's guitar lick and sweeping strings blended with Katie White's on point vocals. Ibiza based DJ BOIX remixes and out comes a different decade - the 80's! Synths are added into the mix and some chopped and skewered vocals to go. We don't mind one bit - we'll just continue dancing and perhaps add the robot along with the disco shuffle. Enjoy! PS. The Ting Tings just dropped a dancetastic video to their infectious new disco single Wrong Club! Katie White dances in a laser filled warehouse and we can see why she thinks she's in the wrong club - there's no one there apart from her and Jules! Love the lighting and the classic disco moves for suuure. So hot! How awesome would it have been if the two of them had done the shuffle in matching catsuits?! Dang! This is one of the years most catchiest releases and we cannot wait for the album. The duo drops their third album Super Critical in late October! Dance baby, dance! 

Premiere: The Ting Tings - Wrong Club

The 70's called and is very happy we're all doing d.i.s.c.o dancin' to groovy beats during all our spare time and some. The Ting Tings are back with Wrong Club and it's a stompin' disco tune complete with a Nile Rodgers guitar lick style and sweeping strings to go along. Hell yeah! The single artwork even has that old school much touched vinyl sleeve found in crates in record stores world wide. Katie White even looks like a dance diva in the press shot - and Jules De Martino is... asleep? Anyway, this is a mega tune and will be released on July 28th! Very groovy baby!

Katie and Jules aka The Ting Tings stopped by David Letterman to promote their new album Sounds From Nowheresville by performing lead single Hang It Up. They're as tight as ever and LOL at the guy who had to grab the guitar. Not very punk rock, she should've smashed it to pieces, haha.

The Ting Tings - Soul Killing - Premiere

The Tings Tings scrapped a whole album from the point of releasing their single Hands in 2010 to now. Wow. On February 27th we get their second album Sounds From Nowheresville - the follow up to their massive debut We Started Nothing - which sold 4 million copies world wide. Jules and Katie are sure in a experimenting mood as new single Soul Killing is a big step away from last single Hang It Up. Both reminds us a lot of early Blondie though! Check out the reggae flavoured new single below which samples a rocking chair! Thoughts?
