Susan Boyle - Unchained Melody - Video Premiere!

We're so happy Susan Boyle gets to sing with the London Symphony Orchestra! She so deserves it. Earlier this month Lykke Li covered Unchained Melody, now it's Susan's turn! It's funny that we've heard this track a lot lately as it's not a great favorite of ours. But we think Susan puts her own stamp on it, much the same as Lykke did, so we approve. Susan Boyle - Enjoy The Silence (Depeche Mode Cover) - Premiere!

Are you ready for Susan Boyle covering Depeche Mode? Wow, this is not at all what we expected! Susan's version of Enjoy The Silence is pretty moody and her voice sounds broken and very emotional. We like that she went a bit dirty and not made this into a musical number (too much at least). Yeah, she got her heavenly choir as usual but this is perhaps a brand new Susan? Listen a comment below! PS. We just realized that Susan Boyle is exactly the same age as all of Depeche Mode, give or take one year for some of the blokes. Overall - well done Susan!

Susan Boyle - Perfect Day (Lou Reed Cover)

Badass Susan Boyle just released the video to her heavenly version of Lou Reed's iconic Perfect Day. The video is just like her, just lovley! We got some Björk and Jóga feelings from it, and that's just brilliant.

Update: It's frickin' Lou Reed himself who directed the video! Brilliant!

Susan Boyle - Perfect Day (Lou Reed Cover)

We love Susan Boyle singing Lou Reed! Such a great combination connecting Susan not only with Lou but with The Velvet Underground, Andy Warhol, Mick Ronson, David Bowie and Candy Darling as it should be. Perfect Day is such a great track that we have loved forever. Susan brings some elegance to it, hehe. How many times do you think she's had Sangria sitting in a park? Not many we'd say! But maybe she can do that now! And for her next album we sure do hope she gets to sing some original songs.
