Susan Boyle - Perfect Day (Lou Reed Cover)

We love Susan Boyle singing Lou Reed! Such a great combination connecting Susan not only with Lou but with The Velvet Underground, Andy Warhol, Mick Ronson, David Bowie and Candy Darling as it should be. Perfect Day is such a great track that we have loved forever. Susan brings some elegance to it, hehe. How many times do you think she's had Sangria sitting in a park? Not many we'd say! But maybe she can do that now! And for her next album we sure do hope she gets to sing some original songs.

Not one of my favourite songs to be honest, but Susan is such an amazing singer that it is instantly turned into a beautiful tune which brings out the spiritual and holyness in the pit of ones stomach.
