Free Download: Kindness Feat. Robyn - Who Do You Love? (Joakim Remix)

Kindness and Robyn's Who Do You Love? premiered two months ago and has been a firm favourite here ever since. It's dreamy, experimental and wistful - love! Now stellar Parisian DJ and producer Joakim Bouaziz has turned this awesomeness into a cool dance remix and extended it into an orgy of sounds that's 7+ minutes long. Niiiiice! Plus it's a free download and released on a cold Wednesday. Xmas came early and unexpected for sure. We love that the church organ is a keeper and how wonderful the vocals shine when paired with that groovy club beat. Really sweet! Enjoooy below and click here for the .mp3!

Premiere: Röyksopp & Robyn - Monument Dance (Marcus Marr Mix)

For Röyksopp's new (and final) album era The Inevitable End they've amped up the monumental monument that is Monument. Remember this absolute gem?! To banish the slower pace even further they've enlisted DFA's Marcus Marr to shake, shake, shake it up! Eh, talk about a push. Robyn's vocals are perfect over the dramatic and dirty beat. It sounds so effortless and damn cool. We just wanna d.a.n.c.e to this stat in a dimly lit club and feel the bass through the floor. Enjoy below! The new Röyksopp album is out everywhere on Monday but already streaming in full on Spotify. Enjoy!

Premiere: Kindness Feat. Robyn - Who Do You Love?

Adam Bainbridge a.k.a Kindness released his acclaimed debut album in 2012 and followed up with production and instrumentation in '13 on Blood Orange's Cupid Deluxe. This year he created a Monument To Everything for Robyn & Röyksopp and this is where we are now. Who Do You Love? a collaboration with the first R actually sounds like a lost track from the Cupid sessions. We've had that album on repeat since last year so how wonderful to have new material in the same vein. It's eclectic and the bassline moves us and shakes us. Words like raw and organic comes to mind and we are still tryin' to hear all the different sounds. That church organ showing the way forward and the dreaminess paired with absolute sharpness. Pretty big, hehe. Listen below. Thoughts?

Premiere: Röyksopp & Robyn - Monument (The Inevitable End Version)

Svein and Torbjørn better known together as Röyksopp drop a fantastic new version of the epic Robyn collaboration Monument. Apart from being a badass remix using their characteristical sounds this also acts as a pathway to the next album! Hot damn! Says S + T: The Inevitable End Version represents a bridge between our recent work with Robyn and the new Röyksopp album - it is also an indication of things to come… It includes the Röyksopp trademark bass line that no-one else can achieve… Argh, we kinda need that album right now TBH, haha. Love this mix with its crazy good drive and tight production. It takes the original mix and builds a whole new world for it without losing that special magic. Too good! Listen below to the Pete Tong radio premiere + the full version on Spotify! Enjoy! Oh, if anyone has a streaming problem try this alternate link

Premiere: Robyn - Tell You (Today) [Loose Joints Cover]

Wow, Robyn's creative output is lighting up the sky! We knew that she spent time in the studio this summer with friend and producer Christian Falk just before he passed away from stomach cancer. :( Here's the first taster of their creative spark! A cover of experimental disco super nova Arthur Russell and his Loose Joints' 1983 hit Tell You (Today) for new album Master Mix: Red Hot + Arthur Russell out next month. God, we love those old early 80's master mix tapes and this new version stays true to the magic of those reel to reel goodies. Listen below! Enjoooy!
