Björk - Cosmogony - Full Studio Version!

The full studio version of Björk's new single Cosmogony just became available to listen to in its entirety! We must say we like a lot! This feels like a complete song, and her vocals are so pure and friendly. How on earth we are going to make it until the whole Biophilia app album drops is beyond us! Both the Cosmogony song and app will be available on iTunes in just a few hours! Are you going to buy?

Björk presents Manu Delago

We're sure you've noticed how excited we are for Björk's Biophilia project by now and the different collaborators, haha. We are sooo looking forward to hearing the whole Omar Souleyman remix of Crystalline for instance. Last night Björk let us know she's been working with Austrian Hang player Manu Delago, and linked to the below clip! She discovered him thru it! So awesome! We're thinking the song he's playing must be Kleerup's Longing For Lullabies yes? Anyhoo, this project just keeps getting better and better!

Björk - Crystalline - App Preview!

As you know Björk's upcoming album Biophilia will be the world's first app album - one app for each track no less. We love that Björk has commissioned app's from rival companies all in the pursuit of the best app for each track. And behold - here is the one for lead single Crystalline! We can't see it from this preview but once purchased you'll be able to alter the music to create your own Crystalline world in a game in which you collect crystals in a tunnel, through which process you alter and customise the music. The app also includes an abstract version of the musical score; and an essay that explains how the structures of crystals relate to the musical structure of the song. Sounds very exciting and love how this pushed the boundaries further to what an album can be.

Björk - Live @ Manchester International Festival - New Music!

Last week we posted some snippets of new songs from Björk. Here are full versions of Thunderbolt and Cosmogony, with a side of some sweet classic All Is Full of Love. Thunderbolt sounds like something we'd listen to a lot. Classic Björk choir and the arrangement is amazing. Cosmogony sounds like a hymn on acid with that choir arragement. And Björk's voice is flawless and pure. We always get excited for the live versions and All Is Full of Love is no exception. Have a listen below!

Björk - Dazed & Confused Guest Editor

For their 200th issue Dazed & Confused have asked Björk to show us the future as the guest editor for the whole issue and cover star. We likey! So far the Biophilia marketing campaign does not dissapoint. Lovin' the hair too! Photograph by Sam Falls and styled by Katy England the issue hits the stands this week on Thursday the 7th.
