A few days ago we posted the leaked red band trailer for the US version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Now here's the official teaser trailer, looks just as good. Are you gonna go watch when it premieres over Christmas?

Check out this supposedly leaked trailer of the blockbuster US version of Swedish crime phenomena The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - directed by David Fincher and starring Rooney Mara as badass Lisbeth Salander. Looks extremely promising we'd say!

We were invited this week to an advanced screening of Lars von Trier's new much hyped Melancholia. Unfortunately we couldn't make it, but our dear cineast friend Special K made it and let us know that it's deffo a movie worth checking out - better than Antichrist. She however wished Mr von Trier could make a comedy next to lighten things up a bit. Nothing wrong with that peeps! Judging by this trailer and the buzz from Cannes we're so gonna go a check it out this upcoming weekend. Will you? Also, any movie with Charlotte Rampling, Udo Kier and Charlotte Gainsbourg is a must!
Lars von Trier in Film Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 12:54PM Barrel of a Gun is a fashion film commissioned by Idoménée Magazine for their summer issue. The film, to be released with the issue features Comme des Garçons Spring/ Summer 2011, that we wrote about last summer. This looks interesting so we'll post the whole film when available.

For Chanel's cruise collection 2011/2012 Uncle Karl has created The Tale of a Fairy - a short film featuring acting performances by the A-list of models. Kristen McMenamy, Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi to mention but a few. Set in the south of France it tells the story of violence and luxury. Models who act? Believe it! Now, we're thinking this film is supposed to sell the idea of Chanel's cruise collection + the idea of luxury. We're not quite sure it hits the target, quite the opposite we'd say. Have a look! It had it's premiere this week at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc at the Cap d’Antibes, France.
