Roxette premiered their new single She's Got Nothing On (But The Radio) over the weekend and wow, it's great to see Marie Fredriksson back being the badass rock chick she is. We're so happy she recovered from her brain tumour. This is their first new material in 10 years! We've never been huge (or even small) fans of their work, although there is no denying how incredibly catchy Per Gessle's hooks are, and how they really were h u ge during the early 90's. The new album Charm School (out in Feb) is entirely written by Gessle, and judging by this single it's him running the show, with Marie deep in the mix, with a voice that has lost it's edge. It's sad! We thought of who would buy a new single and album by Roxette nowadays, and had to settle for "an old super fan", cuz this brings nothing new to the table at all, even though it's as super catchy as always. We've had James Blake's cover of Feist's The Limit To Your Love, titled just Limit To Your Love on our radar for quite some time. But as we OD'd on Feist's album The Reminder in 2007, and especially this beautiful and incredibly sad song we kinda never connected with this version. Until now. Something clicked. James' voice fits the lyrics perfectly and the production is flawless. The lyrics are so sad! There's a limit to your care/Is it truth or dare?/Like a map with no ocean. What an awesome way to start the weekend! Listen to the new single from Sweden's finest Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers. The original version gives us a boner for the upcoming album Wounded Rhymes and the remix from The Magician is amazing. Gotta love the old school house piano! Enjoy!

We cannot get over how wonderful Clare Maguire's voice is. It evokes a lot of emotions for sure. Clare wrote her new single The Last Dance the day after Michael Jackon's death, after hearing all the crazy comments that were circulating. And in the video that just premiered we even get a Jackson move! The album Light After Dark is out February 28th and we cannot wait to hear it.
