Premiere: MNDR & Scissor Sisters - SWERLK

Hell yes! Scissor Sisters are back and together with MNDR they are into SWERLK mode - love it! They collaboration is a benefit single to the victims of the PULSE attack and is in partnership with GLAAD as well. We're absolutely loving this bright and wonky 80's pop vibe. Not to mention how awesome it is to hear SS together again after going on an indefinite hiatus in 2012. This MNDR collab is doing wonders and imagine if this a whole EP would hit us later this summer - we'd be floating on clouds the rest of the year. The horrific mass shooting at the PULSE club a year ago on June 12 had us gasping for air for weeks. This feels like a much needed and wonderful tribute. LOVE IT!

Introducing: 3615 Nuits Blanches - About Last Night [L.O.V.E. Ltd - LOVELP1]

Parisian duo 3615 Nuits Blanches debut with a fantastic collection of songs. About Last Night is an album filled to brim with hypnotic synths and breathy vocals that are simply divine. The initial feeling is sadness paired with rainy and empty streets in a big city. But diving in behind it there is a lot of soul, empathy and love hiding in the shadows. No one can create beautiful music like this and be cold and/or numb. The bombastic 80's feel combined with a minimalistic vibe is tantalizing to say the least and we want to hear moooore. Love it!

Premiere: Leon Else - What I Won't Do

UK's finest Leon Else has been steady rising the last few years and we love his Instagram feed! His brand new single What I Won't Do is magic and creates a rush from just listening to it. It's so damn direct and catchy, PLUS those 80's references in the drums and synths teamed with the urgency in his voice + falsetto. It's all too much and we love it! ENJOY!

Video Premiere: The Sound of Arrows - Beautiful Life

Brand new The Sound of Arrows! The Swedish duo return with the gorgeous and moving Beautiful Life, their first outing in five years. Stefan Storm and Oskar Gullstrand released their debut album Voyage in 2011 and have created stunning remixes along the way for artists such as Lady GaGa. This new single had us at the intro alone and truly up their game in a sharp and gleaming way. The first 37 seconds is like a bright summer morning just waiting for the day to take off, which it does when the strings start shimmering around the 38 second mark. Stefan's vocals are so beautiful and evoke such tender feelings. And they're so understated and effortless which pairs so well with the gleaming and dramatic strings. A symphony of emotions if you will. The lyrical motif sets the scene of a brooding night of longing and hoping and the visuals are equally as striking. Gorgeous scenery and locations plus awesome cinematography all make for one beautiful video. The lone figure in sportswear in the middle of it all makes it a bit raw and like an everyday situation, despite all the phenomenal things around him. Much like life itself, no? It all happens when we least expect it and we just have to embrace it. Top marks!

Premiere: Lana Del Rey feat. The Weeknd - Lust For Life

Lana Del Rey is gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album Lust For Life later this year. The title track just dropped and features The Weeknd - the songs they have done together are pretty awesome so the bar is high. Thankfully both come through and this is a really sweet listen. It sounds very LANA circa Born To Die era. Namely Without You. The verses on Lust For Life shakes us with its lowkey verses that explode every time in that stirring chorus. Love the shift in energy and how well the Del Rey anthem aspects blend with Weeknd that patented falsetto. Hopefully a big hit! Thoughts?
