Premiere: Goldfrapp - Ocean

Alison and Will are coming for us all hard with their new Silver Eye album material, and we love it! Goldfrapp has always been about reinvention for every album - and this is no exception. For the new album, out March 31st, we're getting a harder sound, reminicent of 2003's Black Cherry and 2005's Supernature albums, but this time they go a bit deeper and harder. Ocean teams a stelly synth sound with haunting vocals and pounding drums and the effect is immediate - we cannot get enough. It sounds bloody fantastic, we're sure Depeche Mode are biting their nails at this very moment. THIS is how they should sound in 2017. Listen below!

Video Premiere: Lorde - Green Light

New Zealand queen of indie pop, Lorde is back with a bang! Green Light veers greatly from her debut album and heads more into a pure pop territory. It'll be interesting to hear what the full album will sound like. She's 20 now, not 16 and has traveled the workd so it's bound to be a mixed bag! This first taster is both musically + visually a party anthem, house piano and fist pumping dance moves. Welcome back, Lorde!

Premiere: Goldfrapp - Anymore (Remixes)

Goldfrapp's Anymore has been on steady repeat here the last few weeks and we cannot wait for new album Silver Eye (out March 31)! Also, we found out today that Alison took the promo pics herself, as seen above, using a shutter button attached to the foot area of the chair she was sitting on. Very cool! To amp up the single, here are two new remixes, the first ones of many, we're sure. Joe Goddard of Hot Chip uses a classic Chip vibe and adds a trippy feel to the already cool track. The new pitch on Alison's vocals is like stepping into a fever dream where Goldfrapp is the be-all-end-all and Silver Eye rules the skies with lazer sharp precision. The Danny Dove mix takes us more into the underground. A more club ready vibe awaits us there filled with smoke machines and stiff drinks being poured all around. Yes, the mix is complete with a build up and drop. Listen beloow!

Premiere: IMAN - Wishing

London's finest IMAN is back with Wishing, and it's an absolute jam! In the best way possible it sounds a lil' like an updated Rozalla for 2017, how awesome! The sound is rooted in a deep club culture and Iman's vocals fit so well soaring over the harder beat. Plus, she really infuses the track with warmth and her voice is distinct and so awesome. When the house piano kicks in = heaven and some. The production is tight and holds it together so well plus it's perfect for any Saturday night out. What else do you need really? Hit it on repeat below! Click here for more IMAN! PS. Can you guess which Madonna song we thought of when hearing the intro?

Premiere: Lana Del Rey - Love

A fantastic Saturday surprise to have brand new Lana Del Rey! After it leaked Love is now offically out in a speed release. This single serves as the first taster of her upcoming fifth studio album. Just the intro alone screams classic Lana paired with a hint of Twin Peaks, naturally it's a gorgeous blend. The warmth in her voice is so intense here and just pulls you into the Del Rey universe. It's a welcome return to her Born To Die Paradise edition days with a pounding lead single that sounds instantly familiar and yet with so much to pay attention to. The world feels crazy and chaotic right now and how sort of soothing yet terrifying to hear Lana sing "don't worry baby" over that dark pool of music. It's gleaming with a muted light and just what we needed right now.
