Premiere: Rhye - 3 Days (Junior Sanchez Remix)

Yes, yes! Just a few hours ago we were playing an old playlist and Rhye came up. Instantly we wished for some new material and here we get at least a new remix! Legendary New York producer Junior Sanchez remixes the fantastic 3 Days into a house anthem for days, months and years! Michael Milosh's amazing voice is a perfect match for the thumping beat and Robin Hannibal's original production is heard from a new angle. Imagine this playing l o u d at a house party. Free Download: Jessie Ware - 12 [ Demo ]

Jessie Ware's Tough Love album is out tomorrow officially and it keeps on delivering. This time a track not even on the album. 12 was written by Jessie with Robin Hannibal of Rhye and produced by the latter. For reasons unknown it stayed in demo form even though it's an awesome track. The fact that this is what a JW demo sounds like - flawless! It's brilliant! Luckily for us it's available to download in HQ and so gonna be added to the album stream here. Sounding very effortless - we hear some Sade vibes in there and the dream pop qualities is warm and soothing. Too good to be left unheard so we'll keep it on repeat. Enjoy!  

Rhye - Open (Marc Kinchen Remix)

Super hyped (and rightfully so) Danish/Canadian duo Rhye gets their gorgeous album opener Open treated to a most delicious remix by legendary Detroit producer Marc Kinchen. Sweet! Where the original is somber and delicate this take elevates the groovy aspects of it and adds a badass 90's house feel to it. 7 + awesome minutes! Enjoooy!  

Rhye - The Fall - Video - Live Version + Maurice Fulton Alt Mix

We're playing Rhye's The Fall and have teenage summers swish before our eyes. Something in the wistfulness and gorgeous instrumentation evokes some heavy imagery on our part. Not to mention the amazing video and duality of it all. The thing we call life that sometimes haunts us, and all the choices we make, or have made for us. Looking back. Wondering. The rawness of the simplistic live version brings it out even further. The Maurice Fulton take confuses us a bit, haha. The groove paired with those sad lyrics hurts a bit. It's in all good order though. Perhaps this is what the party goers are dancing to in the video? This duo record in Copenhagen, but are based in L.A so there's a lot of duality there too. Looking forward getting to know them more for sure! Thanks Morten!
