Premiere + Free Download: RØMANS Feat. Mary J. Blige - Overthinking

Amazing! Just the other day we were thinking how sweet it'd be with some new MJB, and here it is! Amazing songwriter and producer RØMANS best know for his work with Disclosure has teamed up with Mary J. Blige for a brilliant duet. Overthinking utilizes both their stunning voices to the maximum over a stunning electro production that shimmers with a muted glow. The result sounds like an updated version to Marvin Gaye's duet albums with Tammi Terrell and Diana Ross; how cool is that? PLUS it's a free download thanks to Annie Mac! Win, win!

Premiere: Mary J. Blige - My Loving

Yes, yes, yes Mary J. Blige! The London Sessions album is finally out t o d a y and since it's being hailed as a career reinvention all eyes are on her today! Luckily she delivers big time! Just listen to My Loving, a house track she's been holding a secret all these months! Created with UK vocalist/producer Sam Romans and US legend Rodney Jerkins it's a celebration of life, love and classic house music. MJB is truly on point over this scorcher of a track and the pitched vocals brings out the party anthem feel of it. Not to mention that piano, build up and drum machine. So perfect! It sounds like they had so much fun creating this album and it certainly makes us wanna d.a.n.c.e x 10! Enjooooy below!

Premiere: Mary J. Blige - Nobody But You

Yes, yes Mary! We love this new era and how cool to hear such diverse material. Mary J. Blige sounds like she's having a blast with her The London Sessions (out Nov 24th) material. For Nobody But You she teamed up again with Sam Smith for writing together and then UK house n' garage producer M.J. Cole to produce. The result is a holy trinity and how good it sounds! If someone had said this was a stellar classic from 1999 we'd believed 'em (almost, we know our stuff). The beat is so infectious and a real ray of concentrated sunshine. MJB on the mic sounds so amazing and effortless. It's a track that reminds us of a rainy London street, black cabs rushing by, a great song in your headphones and thinking about your most loved one. A streak of sadness perhaps, and then a smile 'cause it happened at all. Oh, Mary!

Premiere: Mary J. Blige - Whole Damn Year

Mary J. Blige is an amazing storyteller and her delivery is unparalleled. Her voice stirs emotions like no other and her tone on brand new Whole Damn Year breaks our heart. You believe her instantly. It's a fantastic, piano laced, gut-wrenching ballad chronicling abuse and absolute torment. It hits us right in the solar plexus. So amazing, devastating and brilliant. It's co-written by Emeli Sandé and Naughty Boy and now we officially we cannot wait for The London Sessions album to drop later this year. First taster Right Now was released earlier this month - you can listen to it here if you missed it. Oh, Mary.
