Premiere: Katy Perry - Roar

Get ready and listen to what will be blasting out of speakers everywhere for the next few months. Katy Perry's Roar marks the start to her Prism album era and supposedly is a darker and edgier one. Well, this Bonnie McKee co-written track is certainly catchy but not exactly summoning darkness, tehehehe. But she'll have a big radio week when it's out next week! Listen below! Thoughts? Update: Sounds like KP borrowed some inspiration from Sara Bareilles' Brave! Yikes!

Cheryl Cole was the musical guest at last night's The Graham Norton Show - splitting the couch with Katy Perry and Ross Noble. We love the flow of the interview, Graham always has a great way of bringing out the best in people - no exception here! A great dynamic group! Katy talked about her upcoming  movie - and Cheryl finished dancing her ass off to her Calvin Harris collaboration Call My Name. Watch it all unfold beloooow!

Katy Perry - Part Of Me (Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke Mix)

We don't mind some Katy Perry in smaller doses. It's easy to feel saturated though! Who the hell can say no to Stuart Price though for serious? Not us at least, haha. Using his monikers Jacques Lu Cont and Thin White Duke Mix he adds a characteristic pumping bass line and tweaks Part Of Me into club heaven. Enjoy!

Katy Perry - The One Who Got Away - Video Premiere!

Katy Perry tells the sad tale of lost love in her new video The One Who Got Away. Katy as her older self can't let go of the memories of her high school sweetheart, and it's a super sad watch. We're sure Mrs Brand will have her 6th US #1 with this one! Can we just say that we're not sold on the aging makeup, perhaps it'd been better to have an older actress playing the part? Just a thought.

Katy Perry Makes Billboard Chart History!

Congrats to Katy Perry who yesterday scored something only Michael Jackson has ever done before. Clocking up 5 number ones singles off one album on the Billboard Hot 100. That's massive! He did it with Bad, she did so with Teenage Dream. With California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F) Katy and her team seem to have tapped into something unique sales wise. We're no huge Perry fans by any means, but must confess we have indeed listened to her stuff on Spotify. Very catchy. Her Kathy Beth Terry carachter is pure genius for her latest single campaign for instance. Disarm people with humour is always great, especially if you happen to be as hot as Katy! Revisit all 5 number ones beloooow. We're sure there will be a 6th coming very soon.
