Unless you've been in hiding it's been impossible to miss the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth ll. Tonight the stars came out en masse for the concert outside her lil' house known as Buckingham Palace. From what we saw they all played it kinda safe - so thank goodness there was Grace Jones! She took her hula hoop, corset and some body oil and showed everyone how a true tribute is d.o.n.e! From one queen to another. Watch Slave To The Rhythm below!

Grace Jones is gearing up for the September 5th re-release of her 2008 album Hurricane. The release contains freakishly hot bonus material in the form of newly produced dub versions of the whole album, by legendary Jones producer Trevor Horn. If you're like us and not willing to wait around another 3 weeks, here's a free download of the dub version of Well, Well, Well. We love it so! It sounds like old school Grace Jones circa Slave To The Rhythm.

Grace Jones - William's Blood (Aeroplane Remix) - Free Download!

We've been banging on about the awesomeness of Grace Jones' Hurricane album for the past three years! First time we wrote about the Aeroplane remix of William's Blood was in 2008! Co-written by legendary Wendy & Lisa and telling the tale of the Jones family it's a must have! There was supposed to be a video directed by Chris Cunningham, but that never happened - so hopefully it can happen now as it's seems to get a wider release. How cool would that be?! This remix was first deleted by the label from the official release in '08 so we are happy it's a free official download now. If you like grab the radio edit here!

Grace Jones - Sunset Sunrise - Free Download + Hurricane News

We are in a bit of a shock. We lived full time in the US in 2008 and had no idea that Hurricane - the stunning album from Grace Jones never had an official release there. It's one of our all time favourites and we've been playing it ever since. Turns out the official American release is September 6th with a free download of Sunset Sunrise to kick thing off with. This release will also include a brand new bonus disc dub version of the entire album! We suggest you download as it's a magical album! LOVE the re-use of her ex-partner Jean-Paul Goude's spread for V Magazine in 2009 as the new album cover. Clever! Love the Philip Treacy hat too! Don't smoke!

Brigitte Fontaine Feat. Grace Jones - Dancefloor

Dear diary, if we don't get to listen to any more new music this year we'd be happy to have this on repeat until NYE.
