Premiere: Charli XCX - Break The Rules

Charli XCX just announced her 2nd album will be called Sucker and is out in October. First taster is the hard hitting, punk inspired, party anthem Break The Rules. Imagine this live with her angels getting absolutely mental, haha. The hard edges are softened by the catchiness of the song and we love the mix. Plus, she's too cool for school anyway. No wonder she cancelled her gig in Sweden this week - she was busy plotting world domination instead of playing a rainy festival gig in Malmö! Speaking of Sweden; this is a bit The Sounds no?! Somtimes you just need to dance and then dance some more. Charli XCX's Boom Clap from The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack is pure energy concentrated into a damn fine song. Aeroplane mixes it just right and elevates the flirty and bouncy effects of the original. Kinda like being proper in love - it just keeps getting better and better n' hotter and hotter, haha. Premiere: Charli XCX - Boom Clap

New Charli XCX is always a treat and Boom Clap is not an exception. Recorded for what looks like an amazing movie - The Fault In Our Stars' soundtrack we're getting a big drum sound and a cheerleader cheer style delivery. The production of the song is a continuation of Charli's increasingly more accessible style that started with SuperLove last year. This is a very hot track and we love her hard edge so promise to not file down too much plz!

Charli XCX released her debut album True Romance a mere five months ago and is already onto new material. We're thinking maybe as it missed the Billboard 200 album list and peaked at #85 in the UK despite being hyped. Just an idea at least! SuperLove is a fun and more accessible track with sweet hooks and flirty lyrcis. The video is a fun Instagram postcard from Tokyo with nightlife and a comeback for Buffalo shoes. This is not a direct smash as Charli penned I Love It for Icona Pop but it's fun and should get her some superlovin'. Thoughts?
