Tony Bennett & Amy Winehouse - Body and Soul - Preview!

Oh Amy, it still feels so weird knowing that you'll never get to become an old living legend like Tony Bennett. On September 20th Tony Bennett releases his new duets album celebrating his 85th birthday. On it are people like Lady GaGa, (she's everywhere, literally) Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin. And Amy. The Amy Winehouse duet is the classic Body and Soul, and as it turned out, the last recording she would ever do. Below is a preview if ya wanna listen.

Amy Winehouse 1983-2011

Oh Amy! We are so sad right now. Amy Winehouse was found dead in her North London flat about two hours ago. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained. She was only 27, and this marks the final chapter in a life that was filled with such talent and genius, but also so much pain and sadness due to her drug use. It's all too much to take in right now. We're so sad! We can only hope that where ever you are Amy now it's filled with more light and music for you! Below is Amy's Tears Dry On Their Own, and her last public appearance from only 3 days ago during her god daughter Dionne Bromfield's set during the iTunes Festival. Amy was legendary even during her short life and we already know her albums will carry on her legacy. What a sad loss for us music lovers!

Amy Winehouse too drunk to sing in Belgrade, Serbia

We had hoped that the next time we posted something about Amy Winehouse it would be on a positive note. Sadly that is not the case. Amy kicked off her 12 date European tour yesterday in Belgrade, Serbia by being too drunk to sing. For 90 minutes she stumbled across the stage mumbling the lyrics and at one point leaving the stage with the band having to fill in for her. Many in the crowd had paid €45 for their ticket and as Serbia holds one of the lowest wages in Europe people were visibly upset. This is a truly heartbreaking thing to watch as Amy is so talanted and gifted, and such as shame she's wasting it on drugs and alcohol. Next stop on her tour is Istanbul.
