Playmates by Mariano Vivanco for Candy Magazine #3

Now these are some pretty fierce bunnies! Mariano Vivanco shot models Matt Trethe, Andrey Zakharov, Stefan Pollman, Thom Morrells and Sam Lawson as Playmates for Candy magazine. But not as any ol' playmates of course - we're getting strong Berlin early 1930's vibes from this. Judging by Marlene Dietrich as the soundtrack, they had the cabaret girls from days of yorn in mind. Issue #3 of Candy came out last week, and as it's 1000 copies only get urs as soon as you can.

Chloë Sevigny for Candy Magazine #3 by Terry Richardson

It's Candy time! Like clockwork Luis Venegas has unveiled the third issue of his limited edition transversal Candy magazine. We're one of the lucky who have both previous issues, hehe. This year Chloë Sevigny is the cover boy, dressed as Terry Richardson, shot by Terry himself. Love it! Judging by the video promo this issue looks totally awesome, with iconic photographers really workin' it. We want candy for sure! Bring. It. On. Also, we're curious what our Chloe has to say...

Blue Daisy - The Passage EP (i-D Exclusive Stream)

Wow, wow, wow. Kwes Darko aka Blue Daisy's The Passage EP made our whole night beautiful. We're listening in our headphones typing this. So beautiful. Kwes is inspired by nature and preoccupied with the subversive - creating a truly unique atmosphere. 

"My music is inspired by the environment I am in. It’s inspired by nature, by everyday life…I think the club thing, it’s not timeless. I’m making music for the long run, in 10 years I still want people to be able to listen to it, to relate to it. I’m not down with the idea of fitting in, Blue Daisy represents being different, being an outcast.."

Already hailed as the future of British electronic music, we think he really connects electronical music with classical music and also the core of human emotion. James Franco's Ass for Flaunt Magazine

It's a trickery getting people to buy magazine's these days. So Apple created the Newsstand feature for iOS5 - and Flaunt magazine has switched from face to ass for their new issue. Which makes perfect sense. We're quite bored with the celebrity cult and tons of magazine's churning out millions of airbrushed faces. Bring on the ass trend! We hope Vogue etc hooks on! Zombie Boy by Matthew Lyn for Schön Magazine

Before becoming Zombie Boy, Rick Genest was a Canadian dude with no tattoos sleeping outside and racking up $20,000 in fines for doing so. After the tattoos he was spotted by Nicola Formichetti on his Facebook page and the rest is pretty much known. Now he is Zombie Boy with all of us. Photographer Matthew Lyn decided to treat us to what he looked like before. We like Rick's tattooed self for sure, but he looks really handsome without 'em!
