Free Download: Madonna - Fever (Zero Experience Remix)

Hehe, it's truly Rain-ing terrific house bootlegs of classic Erotica era Madonna tracks! We're happy to discover as they truly sound like the real early 90's house deal. This time 'round it's M's take on the classic 1956 now standard Fever. She used the added lyrics as written by Peggy Lee, but completely changed the music to a house beat. The album version and the one released as the video version were also totally different from each other and both sound equally as good! We know the Erotica version was made by Shep Pettibone as an instrumental and M just started singing the Fever lyrics on top, winging it as they went along, and that they recorded it all using reel to reel. We love this classic piano driven house remix as it sounds like it could have come straight from the 'special DJ limited edition' red vinyl shown above. Back in the spring of '93 Fever helped bring the groove back to M's chart run after the whole Sex backlash. The drive in this bootleg makes us wanna dance for sure and long for a new Madonna album filled to the brim with insane beats that makes dance floors around the world boil. Listen below! Thoughts?

Free Download: Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner (Thon Soriedem Remix)

Suzanne Vega hasn't released a new album since 2007 and we so want new material. We've been listening loads to her lately and we're craving some new songs, she's so incredibly talented. How awesome then to come across this brand new deep house remix of her classic 1986 spoken word hit Tom's Diner by Brazilian DJ Thon Soriedem. The new bassline and strings are so amazing! Talk about addictive! The stellar DNA remix from 1990 just got a new companion to hang out with! Some fun facts about this song is that the real Tom's Diner was later fictionalized in Seinfeld as the hangout Monk's Cafe. PLUS - and this major - it's also called the 'mother of the mp3' as Karlheinz Brandenburg, one of the contibutors to the mp3 creation, used the original version of Suzanne's acapella to make sure the compression was working. Make sure to download and dance to this all weekend, we sure will!

Free Download: Madonna - Rain (Andy Fox's Nu-Disco Remix)

Um, how amazing is this?! Madonna's classic 1992 Erotica ballad Rain gets an incredible 180 nu-disco makeover by Italian house producer Andy Fox and we couldn't be happier! This is crazy good and sounds like an official 12" vinyl from the July '93 single release. Summer is still going and this will be the perfect soundtrack for the rest of August. That house piano, wet drum sound and synths are just sublime. Since only one channel of M's multi layered vocal track is used it also adds the bonus of hearing that really 'pop' in a brand new way too! Enjoy below!  

Free Download: Mutya Keisha Siobhan - Flatline (Argonaut Remix)

MKS's heavenly comeback (of sorts) Flatline is one track we cannot stop playing. Definitely in our top 5 when 2013 is summarized! The official release is September 1st and we're still waiting on the video to drop. All this and paired with the fact that their live set last week got a 5 star review makes the wait unbearable. What to do?! Look for some remixes naturally! Melbourne based DJ Argonaut gives the flawless Dev Hynes production a lil' heavier beat for the dance floors and how this is a bootleg is beyond. Free Download: Aaliyah - Try Again (Chris Clouse Remix)

Sometimes you just need to dance your ass off to an old classic, but at the same time it's wonderful to hear something new. Problem solved this weekend for sure! The Aaliyah and Timbaland 2000 masterpiece Try Again will always sound like a time vortex into the future and this remix by San Francisco based DJ Chris Clouse is the spaceship awaiting on the other side, haha. The added electro dance beat is addicitive and impossible to not dance to, in fact, we had to dance typing this! Enjoy!
