Premiere: Blondie - Call Me (2014 Version)

Legends Blondie are truly forever and ever and this just released material proves it. They've teamed up with legendary producer Giorgio Moroder and re-recorded their 1980 monster hit Call Me. He was the original producer and also wrote the music so it's all in the family for sure. Released February 1st 1980 for the American Gigolo soundtrack it spent 6 weeks at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It's truly an iconic piece new wave and with that instantly recognizable intro. This re-recorded version follows the original closely and we're kinda blown away by the fact that it's coming up to 35 years between the different versions. Say whaat?! It sounds tight and like they had loads of fun revisiting their own catalogue so who can not like this?
