Premiere: Tove Styrke - Number One

Tove Styrke drops her second album Kiddo on June 9th and let's hope she'll have a #1 debut! We're so far lovin' her new era and new single,  apropriately called Number One, is no exception. We really like the mix of the salty and cool spoken parts paired with the more sugary elements. Sticky and sweet with some top notch Himalayan salt on top, haha. Premiere: Tove Styrke - Ego

WOW, Tove Styrke is really on a roll with her new era! Then again; when isn't she amazingly terrific?! Ego is a real jam and we love the xylophone realness and how catchy it is. It's cozy atmosphere music wise is also really cool when paired with the not so pleasent topic of being in love with an ego maniac. :S Top marks Tove! Ego is taken from the forthcoming new album Kiddo (her 2nd) due out in spring '15. Enjooy!

Tove Styrke drops a new single that's Borderline dancehall/reagge and a pure pop jam. Plus we get a killer harmonica intro that makes us think of country, ya'll. There's a lot going on. Love the seamless blend of it all and how utterly cool the song is vocally. Rock hard lyrics with Tove spittin' fire when delivering 'em. It's cool, tight and effortless. Awesome mix. Enjoy!

Wow, Tove Styrke is back and it's in a loud way! Say hello to your new burn anthem Even If I'm Loud It Doesn't Mean I'm Talking To You. Last we heard from her she was more into the club scene so it's a big shift in her sound for sure. Punk, jangle pop and The Ting Tings come to mind! It sounds fun, hard and badass - nice mix!
