The original's highly caffeinated beat gets replaced with a lush and mellow pace filled with Mutya Keisha Siobhan's voices replenishing us with their gorgeous voices. Watch out for that guitar solo too!

Holy Dev Hynes! We've been eagerly waiting for Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan to drop new material and the wait is officially over! The original Sugababes have recorded new material in L.A with Dev a.k.a Blood Orange and also Diane Warren! First taster Lay Down In Swimming Pools is built around Kendrick Lamar's Swimming Pools (Drank) and it's a much welcome return! If this is a taster or a single or something else remains to be seen but how awesome to have a follow up to the One Touch album finally! Mutya mumbles the verses characteristically and the chorus kicks in with a nice kick to it. Enjoy below! Thoughts? Gonna be real awesome to hear mooore!

Sugababes - Freedom

We've always had a thing for Sugababes since their first single Overload 10 years ago. With their ever changing line-up it's at least no worries getting tired of a group member. With currently being on Sugababes 4.0 we've had Freedom on the backburner for a few months now and not really paid that much attention to it. It's ridic that they didn't change their band name, although we understand as to why they wouldn't with the massive budget and value attached to it. Also, the new press images look like overly airbrushed lad's mags images and we didn't want to use any of 'em. Anyhoo, tonight we had a breakthrough getting past the BS and actually listen to the song. It's not gonna rewrite any rules, with it's dub step breakdown á la Hold It Against Me, but it totally works as a pop song. It's very 2011 and we like it! Do you? The single is out September 25th so we'll se in a few weeks if anyone actually will buy it. What do you think?

Sugababes 4.0 are releasing their new single Wear My Kiss on Feb 22 in the UK. Here is a 2 minute preview of the video as it's still in post production. They so ripped off Britney's If U Seek Amy for this track! La La La! Good to see the 'babes are getting a higher budget though.
