Robyn - Dancing On My Own - Live @ MTV VMA's 2010

Robyn tried to rock the Deadmau5 remix of Dancing On My Own last night at the VMA's. But the whole deal was a pretty big buzz kill. The clip below is 16 seconds, but the whole performance was cut to 35 seconds total. Such a waste for a great track, when super boring Taylor Swift got a whole song about Kanye West to sing. As for Robyns's choice of attire for the red carpet we kinda have a feeling the pieces would work as separates, but not as an outfit. The whole thing is ACNE btw, and the boots be their Spring 2011 collection. Oh well. What can we say? There's always a next time?

Paola - Hang With Me (Original 2002 Version)

Ok, we listened to Paola's 2002 album Stockcity Girl like a million times, 8 year ago. And today we realized why we thought Robyn's Hang With Me was so familiar the first time we heard it. Well, that's because it's a cover! Paola's then husband Klas Åhlund wrote and produced it waay back in 2002, and then dusted it off and gave it an electro feel for Robyn's Body Talk P.2, bypassed by the acoustic version found on P.1. We do like it, but it feels a bit strange to have a lead single be a cover no? Talk about a buzz kill. Have a listen to the original recording below.

Robyn - Hyperballad - Live at Polar Music Prize (Björk Cover)

Robyn performed Björk's amazing Hyperballad in front of Björk herself at the Polar Music Prize ceremony last night, broadcasted earlier today. Kudos to her for not dying whilst doing it as Björk just is on another lever than everyone else. Do you think Robyn made the song justice? Björk Guðmundsdóttir didn't look too amused...

Miz Robyn performed live last night for Aftonbladet's interactive online concert project Live-Löpet and the crowd got the chance to interact with her, well, hence the name interactive concert, haha.
