We cannot even with the sadness that Donna Summer isn't here to crank audio systems up and experience the awakened interest in disco and old school house. She'd been perfect on the new Daft Punk album, that's for sure! On October 22nd we're getting a brand new remix album, Love To Love You Donna, filled to the brim with new mixes by people like Hot Chip and legendary Summer producer Giorgio Moroder. The lead off is this funk-tastic club banger by Chromeo & Oliver of 1982's Love Is in Control (Finger on the Trigger) originally produced by Quincy Jones. The original funk and robo voice suits Chromeo perfectly and we love the amped up feeling they are bringing.
