Florence + The Machine's electrifying lead single What Kind Of Man truly jump started the How Big How Blue How Beautiful (out June 1st) album era a few weeks ago. Its fiery heart and punky outlook is hypnotizing, especially when paired to those gory visuals and choreography. Deep house producer Nicolas Jaar injects a whole new kind of energy with his 12+ minute remix. It's dark and brooding and transfixes you with the messed up vocals and when the electronica kicks in it's sweet with a steely aftertaste. It's disco with a strange kick. Coffee with a shot of whiskey. Flo with a set of sharp knives. Something is wrong but it's impossible to look away. Real awesome! Thoughts?
